Astromech R2D2 For $60 on amazon for 1hr

I got my (used) R2 yesterday. My three-year-old got quite a kick out of it, although he doesn't seem to follow commands very well. (I'm talking about R2, but the same could be said of my son ) I think part of it is just getting the timing right for saying the commands, but sometimes he seems to get into a mode where he doesn't listen for "Hey R2" and I have to shut him off to regain control. Anyone else have problems like that?

Mine is the same way.

I had a problem with him following commands for about the first half hour then he seemed to listen to everything. I know that you have to wait til he's completely motionless and quiet before he'll hear you properly.

After that I had no problem chasing the cat around with him in command mode. He's surprisingly powerful.
