At last...Machete figure from NECA!!!

One of the greatest actors of all time De Niro was incredibly lazy in his part and brought nothing to the table. Even his accent was not consistent.

You know that was a part of the character he was playing, right?

I think it flat out sucks haha. I really wanted it but it looked 2 inches tall and looked like it was melted. I'd get it but for like 5 bucks then it will collect dust in the back of my closet for all eternity.

Looks just like him to me, I dont see how they could have improved.

I did wonder about this. Was his political persona supposed to be a hoax and he faked the accent all along?

Yes, DiNiro's character is is supposed to be a flake. His southern accent is just a hoax that he plays for people.

Anyways, saw Machete at TRU and I hate to say it bit I was unimpressed. It's SMALL for one thing. Should be a tall figure as Machete is a big dude. NECA's 'orange skin' look is a real buzzkill too.

So much for a tall, tan, Mexican.

No, he's reallyy not a big dude -but that's part of his legend is that he is. The victorious raising of the machete pose would have been better. A car rooftop base would have increased the value of this figure also.

It's totally too small. Way smaller than the other 7 inch NECA figures. It;s more in scale with Marvel Legends or something.

Danny Trejo stands a shade under 5'6" tall so an inscale figure is going to be shorter than the other neca figures.
