The solution here is learning from your mistakes, I know I have. The same thing goes for the commerce section, many have been scammed (Although I am not calling Chris a scammer) but it continues to operate. If anything we can all learn something from this experience so it doesn't happen again.

Agreed. It would be a shame for the commissioned customizing to be outlawed. I've dealt with several people here that have been nothing short of spectacular as far as what to expect from a business transaction involving a medium like this.

I also have been trying to get ahold of him about refunds. He has contacted me twice and both times he says he will refund me and then days go by and nothing. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt and give them as much time as they need but I asked for a refund a while ago and still nothing.

You are the fourth refund case. This is just wrong. He said refunds were never a problem before he even started taking money, and now this.

I myself asked for a refund of one project, and he turned me down with the promise the goods were coming in just a couple more weeks. That better be true. :)

He actually told me the same thing that the things I ordered were only a few days away but im not even interested anymore to be honest and that was not the only thing I asked a refund for.

Might I suggest that customisers should keep a single thread that lists all their commissions and where they can do updates, and that these threads be kept clear of comments, bumps and various smiley posts that make it difficult to work out where its at. These threads link back to individual commission threads where people can comment etc, but the main thread keeps clear and allows people to see where EVERYTHING is going up.

Ask the Russians. They seem to have no problem emailing him.

Well I know for a fact he has been recieving e-mails because collector49 has had multiple replies since yesturday. I sent him one last e-mail moments ago, if he ignores it again I will be leaving a negative feedback and will expect Jen to enforce it.

Enough is enough already.

Amen.... i am with you 100%

As far as board rules go on commisions and artists I dont think there should be any. Dave should not have to hold peoples hands and be a watch dog on customizers.

If you willing give over your own money and get scammed than its your bad, deal with it.

Dave does not charge us to have memberships here, nor does he take a percentage of the many thousands of dollars that change hands here every month, so he shouldnt have to keep track of business between individuals.

I agree with that. Its not SSF's (meaning Dave) responsibility to regulate this stuff. Even the feedback thread is a mere courtesy.

I agree with this. I've done some transactions here and all has been well. But I think we all know we take our chances when we do, it's not like walking into a store. Besides if they start regulating all we do here then it will no longer be fun, it will be like real life where everything is going to be regulated!:horror

No, the feedback thread is Jen's life now. You successfully tricked her into taking it from you. Well played Marc. Well played.:lol:lol:lol

Since the usual suspects have decided to pollute this thread (posts deleted) it is closing.

When Chris updates he should start a new thread.
