If they recasted Iron Man, Thor and Cap )because they wouldn't pay them a certain amount, despite making 200 times that much from the movie's profits)

Would it affect the success of the movie?

I honestly doubt I'd go see it if they recast everyone like that. They would be stupid to do it.

I had been reading all along that they already had the whole team resigned for Avengers 2. I guess that was wrong.

I don't think it's right that RDJ makes a ton more money than say, Thor and Cap.

I'd be so pissed if the recasted again... Mark Ruffalo is one thing but no one else could play Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow or even Nick Fury better than the actors/actress that respectively do so.

The character is bigger than the actor IMO....just some actors bring the character to life better than others.

The "Shield" agents wouldn't even need recast, they could just rotate in new agents or introduce new heroes. I think they're wanting to introduce Falcon anyways.

I couldn't stand a recast at this point.

Recasts are for reboots/re-imagings. Not during the middle of the established ongoing and current continuity if it's at all avoidable.

I think Evans is a great Cap, better than what I originally expected when he was first cast. I couldn't get Human Torch out of my head until I finally saw the First Avenger.


Now I really couldn't see anyone else playing Steve Rogers. There's an honesty to him in the first Cap and Avengers.

Not the most, he did good in TFA, but he needs material to work with to be worthwhile

yeah definitely. She is really hot to look at, but I kind of don't like the way she acts sometimes. there is this cold indifference she always has to her that I don't like.

I love Evans as Cap. I really want him to stay on. He's great in TFA and remains my favorite aspect in Avengers.

Agree, he just needs to put some real muscle on like Hemsworth.

Actually, in TFA he looked decent.

The only ones I care about coming back are Cap and Iron Man, the rest I would be perfectly fine seeing rotated out for new members. The Avengers have an almost infinite roster, let's see some new faces. Replace Banner with Hank Pym, Black Widow with Wasp, Thor with Vision or Ms Marvel and Hawkeye with Black Panther.
