Batman beating up Superman is a dumb as it gets in comic book/movie world

True.

I don't see how AoU has a poor BO performance this weekend. The news last night said it was poised for $207 million opening this weekend alone. How much has it made so far total?

The cracks in MCU will come. Not sure this is the first. But maybe the fact that so many expect it, then that itself is the sign of fatigue.

Every song comes to an end. I imagine this will all be tiresome by the time Infinity Wars begins.

Jaws you NEVER like anything :lol

Hulkbuster fight is the best movie hulk moment so far, only just above the giant poodle brawl.

You guys are funny. In this forum the second biggest domestic box office in history is the same as "what a fail" "superhero fatigue". :lol

I look at movies like Fast7 and Transformers and I don't think there is such thing as "fatigue". The regular people don't get tired of movie genres because they don't live and breath this stuff like we do. Superheros are here to stay, just like every other genre out there.

I would agree, if that wasn't incorrect.

Well, he's not entirely wrong. :lol I understand that Sups holds back, but if Sups didn't hold back, Batman wouldn't really stand a chance, imo. In the recent issue of Endgame, when Batman fights Superman, it wasn't really believable, even with all his gadgets and secret weapons. At least not after you see what Superboy Prime did against...well, everyone :lol The dude was ripping people's arms off and killing green lanterns like they were nothing. Even Krypto the dog had to jump in the fight to try and stop Prime....poor Krypto :lol

I did not know it was the second biggest... I was just going on what other people were saying... So yeah.. I would not say this film is in anyway a fail box office wise.

I've never heard of a theater shutting down all movies other than one during a weekend to fill demand like one theater around here did for AOU.

Any one have tears during the Peggy dance scene? I pretty much bawled lol.
Yeah I got a little misty-eyed at that part. Can tell how much it hurts him because he didn't share it in WS when Widow asked and he sure as hell wasn't going to tell Stark when
he asked about his vision

Technically he's right and wrong all at the same time. :lol
Please elaborate Jye senpai.

Yes, that is true, I just read Endgame and in the middle of the fight Batman comes to the realization that his armor is meant to fight a Superman that holds back, same for the Flash, he spent a fortune building a tiny gadget and tuning servers that could map his movements providing he wasn't in full form.

But it was believable, what part of it wasn't?

90% of the time, Superman holding back is a certainty, and while that is a factor there is a chance for Batman to win, albeit most likely not an absolute victory, but still.

Hell, in TDKR Batman's armor was already ****ed up, while Superman was already recovering from the kryptonite arrow, yet people count that as a victory for Bats.

Point is, it's not that dumb see? They've justified Batman's possibilities pretty well, sure, it's an extreme stretch that Batman can win.

The reality of it is.... "I like Batman better than Superman so he can beat Superman up"

And there you have pure comic book logic, right there.

OK, OK, Batman IS real.

You must be new here if you think I favor Batman in any way shape or form :lol

I just know what I'm talking about :huh

Are you pretending comics are actually more ridiculous/silly or illogical than say ROTLA or SW? :lol it's all the same bread&circus buddy.

Or maybe you don't know what these boards are for, hint: they're for us to discuss our opium....
