And that actually ties in to another cool thing about AoU, making fun of "speeches."

"Oh here let me tell you all about my evil plan--" *BLAST*

And then Thor's big monologue when fighting Ultron that at first sounds like a cliched cbm speech but instead is just him deliberately rambling to allow Vision to strike. :lol

But Coulson did the same to Loki in Avengers, BLAST!

Yes, I did like Thor's attempt at wasting time, CE is a really good actor, he really knows how to delive those lines, same as RDJ. Evans still a little stiff, but he's getting there.

But then Ultron came back with a great rebuttal to Thor, he was also wasting time!

Finally got to see this a few days ago. I really enjoyed it overall. I liked Ultron. Thought Captain was my fave Avenger. Vision was refreshing. And I'm starting to hate Tony more and more. :lol Which makes sense with the upcoming Civil War.

Basically Cap is there to save people while the real men battle the baddies..

;) ;)

J/K I love Cap :)

Actually you're not wrong about Cap. He can't take on an army like Hulk or Thor. So to do the character justice I think it's important that he get to cut the head off the snake or at least be instrumental in the event. I was glad to see him be the one to take out Strucker. With regard to the final battle I was fine with him trash talking drones and overseeing the evacuation because of his awesome 1 on 1 he had against Ultron earlier in the film.

And jye I'll be 41 this year. :D

Yup, you're an old fart. :lol

I can't believe that my parents were 30 when they took me to see SW in 77. Why the hell weren't they geeking out like me at 40? :lol

Actually best scene in the film... But still not as good as anything in the Original or TWS... But it was my fav.. moment...

It's why I love cap.. He is the one "super powered" Avenger that you can feel a sense of fear for.. It's why TWS was so great.. I know Caps not going to die... But they still had me on the edge of my seat because he is vulnerable.

I think some of CE being stiff is because of Cap himself.. He is more of a stiff... Chris is pretty carefree and fun as the Human torch (I know the movies suck just making a point) so I think he plays cap stiff on purpose.

Why all the pauses? Am I supposed to read your post in Chris Walken's voice? :D

Yes and even TFA had the element of fear. I remember watching it with my wife back in the day and her saying, "He's sure throwing his shield a lot. If one of those HYDRA guns shoots him he still gets disintegrated right?" "Yep."

You forgot to add in my other quote about Cap..

You really deep down know how useless Cap is

;)

I want a Cap / Hulk team up movie :) :) :)

In all seriousness Cap was my second fav Avenger in the original also... I like how CE plays him.

I'm on Cap's side but I agree with Tony, he was more rational I think

That would help :lol .

Its habbit. I don't know why. Seriously I just had to go back and erase the periods in this sentence. Every time I hit the period it goes three times. I don't know there it comes from :lol :)

I didn't get the feeling so much from that film... (there's the pause again :LOL)

I have to go back and watch it. It's the only MU film I have only seen once and I actually liked it ok. I just don't love it. Don't care for the ending or the Montage action.

Saw this again and liked it even less. Some of the humor just really is cringe worthy. The wit and cleverness doesn't meet the first or cone close to it. Ultron has some pretty bad lines and some terrible Disney cartoon-esque moments. Too lighthearted for the sake of the film.

I loved Cap. Loved the iron man/hulk fight and loved Vision. Thats all. The rest was mediocre imo. Scarlet was cool too.

Did anyone else notice how sub-par the CGI was in many scenes? Especially Thor. He looked completely CGI in many of his fighting scenes. Almost as bad as Dain in the last Hobbit film, but not quite.

It was kind of jarring, but there was just so much going on that I didn't focus on it much.
