Suddenly these siblings don't seem quite so cool anymore.

Saw this last night with the family. Wife didn't like it. Thought it was boring. She loved the 1st one. The kiddies and I enjoyed it. While I was watching it and saw all of these characters interacting, I couldn't help but think how lucky my kids are. I would have KILLED to see movies like this when I was a kid.

Overall, I really liked it. However, I set the 1st movie a notch higher. Really looking forward to the next 2.

The way they focused on awkeye, i thought it was gonna end up like this :lol

YES!, one of my all time favs!

The thing I love most about these movies and tv shows is experiencing them with my daughter who 'gets' them. She loved the movie. Her favorite character was Vision. She was totally crying when one of the characters 'bit' it.

Vision was fascinating to see during his birth scene. Kudos to Paul Bettany and Whedon for handling that character so well. I'm thinking a reprogramming of Ultron occurred rather than it's death.

Hide the zucchini? Evokes memories of a certain gif. HAHAHA!

Gonna wait to see it again on Blu.

I have to wonder if there's anything to Black Widow whispering "Traitor" to Hawkeye's baby while his wife was pregnant. I know she thought she was going to have a girl, but I just wonder.

So does anyone else think Dr. Cho's work could lead to Tony adopting a skin armor like the extremis armor from the comics? They almost imply it, she says it will replace his suits and he says that's the idea.

Interesting idea ... hadn't considered that. I just took it as Tony having an eye on being done as Iron Man.

I'll post the link after but there's a short vid with ILM talking about taking the animation to the next level, it sounds like Ruffalo is a bit part of things, wonder if that was any factor of Hulk's screen time.

I know people either didn't like the score or thought it was nothing special but Elfman's theme in "Heroes" is already one of my favorite themes ever, he did a great job, I actually like AOU's score overall more than Avengers.

Wow, what was there to like? I noticed the new Hulk "love" theme if you want to call it that but that is the only part that stood out. Elfman's new Avengers theme paled in comparison to Silvesti's main theme. I really wanted to hear the main Avengers theme during the fight scenes but we only got it at the very beginning, very end with Cap and the new team, and then the credits. I thought the score was one of the weakest yet for a Marvel film.

I know it's probably been brought up dozens of times but I still find it ironic that Aaron Taylor Johnson and Evan Peters played buddies in Kick-Ass and both went on to play Quicksilver.

Not one of my favorite Marvel films. Visually its stunning, but it suffered from an overflow of just trying to stick too much into the film and trying to make a simple plot more complex. I DID like that you got to know the character s little more and while i liked the Vision, it jus tseemd he came out of nowehere. And Banner supporting Stark AGAIN, once they received the sleep chamber? Not very smart for a genius, lol

Agreed, Silvestri's theme was miles better. I did love the Black Widow/Hulk lullaby theme; it was the one that stood out the most for me while watching the film. Shame it's not on the actual soundtrack.

Yeah, not smart. I thought Banner suffered from severe lapdog syndrome. He kept getting manipulated into things by Tony. Which goes against a lot of his more independent characterization in A1.

I agree with this big time. Vision just seemed like too much and basically when we see him, the rest of the film was too predictable . Ultron had no chance after that

Yes I was thinking the same thing while watching the movie.

Early on I thought it would be the Mk XLV. I was semi-disappointed that it turned out to be Vision. But only for a minute or two. :D
