hahaha except for the fact that clones are far more memorable than those generic,no background story, chitari or whatever the hell those aliens were.

:lol

Someone fill me in, what's the amazing background story on the clones that makes them so much more awesome than the Chitauri? :dunno

So I have a question about the next avenger's movie. Because there is this pattern that seems to be 1 main villain, and he controls like thousands of generic army-building henchmen. Loki and those aliens, and now Ultron and the Sentry's. Do you think they will stop this trend? Or not because it obviously makes them alot of money with merchandising. What type of lame super-soldiers will Thanos have??

If Thanos needs an army I'm gonna flip :lol

I'm not sure I believe there are tens of thousands of fully adult clones at the perfect age.

Seems more likely that a normal army of mercs is there. That's what the chitauri where. Just alien becuase they where, well alien. Same as loki and thor. And same as every single thing on Star Wars. In fact the Star Wars storm troopers are in fact an army of cloned aliens. Lol

And as far as interesting...not sure random Jedi buying clones is a great interestig story.

Clones at least HAD a story, being cloned from Jango Fett on the planet Kamino. Then in episode 3 they were advanced and had names like General Gree, commander Cody, baccara, neyo, bly etc.

I just always liked clones personally but their film presence is far strong than Chitauri

True them being bought isnt interesting, but they were in fact cloned. Jango Fett was cloned and they mass produced them. Plus in episode 3 they get more in depth with many clones and they're all sort of ranks and colors and NAMES even! The clones were great to me as a kid so I'm defending them lol but no the clones werent mercs. just clones of jango...whos son did become sort of a merc himself. The chitarui were in 1 movie for like 30 minutes probably and ALL conveniently died because a Scar Jo destroyed 1 thing. Clones had 2 movies and were the predecessors to stormies so they are far more memorable for me, and looked cooler

Clones story is that they're clones. Exciting.

How they were created isn't the exciting part. I'ts the battles on multiple planets that make them exciting, plus the fact that the creators cared enough to give them names and different colored/types of armors depending on their planet as well as verbally interacting with main characters that made them exciting. As well as games like Battlefront 2 and hopefully BF3

If you're going to delve into video games... :dunno

Chitauri were in other movies: Ultimate Avengers 1 & 2, Gotg briefly as well as the comics. Granted, they typically don't get cute pet names but their abilities are infinitely more interesting to me than a zillion clones.

The Chitauri were able to mimic human form and absorb human knowledge, apparently by ingesting the bodies or brains of the humans they imitated. In their natural form, they appear to be large, and reptilian, but no clear images of their native form have been shown. Although the drone workers were nearly mindless and not much more durable than ordinary humans, the high-ranking officers such as Kleiser possessed enough strength to rival Captain America, superhuman stamina and durability, extremely rapid regeneration, and the ability to see or sense invisible objects or people. The Hulk proves to be strong enough to destroy and consume Kleiser.

:lol I like Star Wars too, just having some fun with ya :duff

"StarWars the Clone wars": An entire series dedicated to the characters! The Chituaris very brief cameo shouldn't even be included in that list lol but they I agree they are in 2 animated straight to dvd / streaming movies. and there's nothing cute about names like "Baccara" lol it sounds weird but hey at least he had a name!

haha I know it's good to let out some love in the form of an "argument lol, cheers! :duff

And once again the Nerd-O-Meter is pegged! (he says with great affection and with acknowledgement that he too is one of them!)
