There hasn't been much mention about it, but anyone else notice how Ultron's cheeks would open up when he's angry? Whenever that happens, he looks very much like the comic book Ultron.

I didn't notice it during the movie but yeah.. You are right. That's strange. They established that he could talk in the first Avengers and then dropped it.

Since I don't own the movie yet, I can't confirm this... But I don't think his cheeks exclusively opened up when he was angry, I recall a scene where he was talking normally and they opened and closed.

From that gif I'd guess it's only when he opens his mouth wide enough. So certain words would make the opening bigger. Or whenever he's yelling.

He was just talking normally, and it was happening while he was talking, almost like it was involuntary, there was no yelling or wide open mouth... I'm going to see it again tomorrow afternoon so i'll try to get a video of it.

Yeah, lemme know. Next time I go, I'm gonna look for it. It gives him such a cool look. Only scene i recall was after klaw gets star warsed...

I'm not being pushy" I guess someone could say he got angry there, but I don't think he was. it opened up again later in the scene when be blasted her for pausing the transfer to vision.




If HT wanted to be really awesome to their customers, they would make the cheek circles removable on the figure.

Plus, I don't think the scene from the trailer was him being coated with vibranium, I think it's was him melting away in the last battle when they all attached him at once.

My theory is the more loud Ultron gets, the more red is shown from inside his head.. Think of it as generated heat. The faster you run an engine.. the more heat it produces. But in this case .. heat is shown by the red glow. The Louder, the more red.

I think it's when he gets agitated (his impatience to Dr. Cho can be considered agitation right?). I think it happens when he goes overboard with Klaw as well.
