Sorry for posting again but a weird thing happened on sideshow. I paid my last payment early and now a 10 cents payment is schedule for Decembre 15th ?!
What the hell is that ?

I’ve never heard of that happening before. Might be something new with their system but who knows….

They use 10 cents as placeholder before the final shipping charge is added.

Unfortunately, that doesn't really mean anything. Your flexpay date is the 15th and they'll just bump it back a month each time you get close to that date and the product isn't ready to ship. My Gamora got bumped for about 18 straight months I think (ok, maybe that's an exaggeration but it was a loooooong wait). Worst case for this one though is probably a couple of months as it should already be on the boat over here. Gamora was not released for a very long time beyond her estimated date...

Yeah it’s capped in black plastic in the unboxing and review videos.

Lol, well I only have room for one Captain Marvel so I’d have to sell the one I have from her solo film if I were to get this one, and considering that figure can still be had brand new at deep discounts I very much doubt I could find a buyer. I think what I will do is hold out for her next eventual figure from her next film, and hopefully they give her ab and torso articulation for a change. I do really like this figure, though!

Agree, I think at times we must be adamantly selective. Good plan, I can't wait what the eventual CM2 figure will look like!

Well, I just got an email from SSC saying the EG CM is delayed until Dec21 - Jan22. I guess no one can escape the supply chain issues…There goes my wish that she arrived before Christmas…sigh…

Good question! Actually, I am most enthralled with Brie Larson's performance as Captain Marvel. So, the fictional character essentially. Watching the movie catapulted me to reading CD/CM's stories, and I've come to like the comics character as well. Though, I'm not too terribly familiar with Larson as an actress; I haven't seen much, if any of her past filmography. But yeah I loved Larson as Captain Marvel, I thought her delivery and portrayal was well done, to me personally.

I'm open to the idea of others in the role of Captain Marvel. I approach the films the same as I approach superhero comics in that there are different interpretations/renditions of superheroes. I can imagine different persons playing Captain Marvel, but it'd be tough to say if I would be as happy since I'm accustomed to her in the role. I'd say if a different actress portrayed Captain Marvel the same as Larson did, I think I would be as ecstatic.

Having said all that, I like to portray all this exuberantly in my exaltations on this forum!

Received the same email and I'm not on flexpay. This pretty much seals the deal that she's on slow boat and this isn't one of their simultaneous releases. I have to believe that they're working with Hot Toys to target certain figures for closer release timeframes that give them more of a wow factor. I'm excited for this figure but compared to a Fett or Ahsoka figure, the overall fandom excitement for this would probably be "meh".

It’s interesting that HT release AK Harley mid-October in HK and I got mine from SSC just before Thanksgiving (Mid-Nov). I guess few people order that one and SSC can get that one out quickly, I guess? I would imagine this EG CM to be in the sample situation? Not many people ordered her? Right? I guess year end shipping issues put an end to quick release by SSC?
