Re: AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - (May 4, 2018)

It'll be cool seeing A1 again from another perspective. Hope HT puts out some non-Stark figures this year to mark the MCU's 10th anniversary. Craving a TFA Bucky and Thor 1 Thor 2.0 and Loki. I heard today Hasbro are doing a few waves including the following:

Ronan
Quicksilver
Yellowjacket
Crossbones

More info at Toyfair hopefully.

Hope that's not what we're seeing re Cap e.g. backing up time. But maybe something like Thanos has destroyed a lot and it's the end so Cap's old uniform is pulled out of mothballs and Tony gives Cap the prototype shield mentioned in Homecoming. That would explain Antman being there. It's for a last stand with whatever is left which finally got Tony and Cap talking.

IMO backing time up has been done before.

If those scenes are in fact time travel, and they go back in time to the NY incident, why and how is Cap wearing his old uni? Why is Tony in a Shield shirt? I feel like it's more alt dimension thing than time travel.

I'm thinking Cap bites the dust in IW and the Cap we see in that pic is probably the Cap from 2012 while Tony is probably from the future/timeline of A4.

What came to mind is that the Avengers are killed, and someone like Strange or Stark goes back in time to recruit Avengers from the past and or grab the Infinity Stones from the past to hide them. Could be very interesting.

Cuz that's 2012 Rogers.

Why is Tony in a Shield shirt?
Considerin' the AoS plot (most agents killed or gone to the future to save human kind after the destruction of Earth), I guess Tony is the director of new SHIELD (like in them comix). Maybe it'll be answered later in the series.

Good theory- but I hate time travel as a way to tie up loose ends and reverse events. ANYTHING can happen and then ZIP it's all saved

Re: AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - (May 4, 2018)

Big baby Hemsworth at it again.

In the sense that during Ragnarok there were complaints about his hair (so he got to cut it); and he (re Thor) had gotten "bored with himself"; the Thor costume is hot and heavy; and how great it was to have so much fun with his bro Taika.

Now it's complaining about IW filimg; that "we" couldn't wait for it to end https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/films/903384/Avengers-Infinity-War-Avengers-4-Chris-Hemsworth-Thor-Jimmy-Kimmel-Live

IMO his Thor has been alright - the acting IMO got better as he went along - but I can't get with such a big guy who's pretty fortunate to be a part of all this - complaining the way he does. Haven't read of any other MCU actor complaining like this and who is "we?" They weren't filming continuously anyway - other actors were able to do other movies at the same time. And not all the actors were on set together.

Just bugs me because IMO ultimately these are characters that mean something to the audience. The films aren't about his comfort. At least Paul Bettany remembers that and his discomfort re costume is a lot worse. Sure, Scarjo mentions not being able to eat a hamburger but she also talks about pride. It's just hard to watch mighty Thor and then think this is the guy who couldn't handle wearing a wig.

Don't usually pay attention to actors but dude, you are a big guy. Suck it up already.:slap

lol It doesn't sound that bad

Ok, I watched it again. I can see it, I guess, re wanting it to be over - I forget that these people are doing a lot of acting with nothing there except a tennis ball:wacky. Plus actors/actresses get brought back for re-shoots and ADR so imagine it's only sort of over:dunno.

Let the PR frenzy begin with cons, premiers, and hopefully some new HT peeks.
