I switched it up and picked a different theater for Saturday

Me too! My fav theater either didn't have a fan event or waited too long - but it's all good, set up for Saturday. I like the theater I ended up at for the fan event. Gotta love reserve seating and lounge chairs.

Just watched the trailer. Made me think of how Marvel got it so right and DC got it so wrong with their universe films.

I watch the Marvel trailer and I see Star Lord and Iron Man talking to each.

I watch BvS and I see Ben Affleck talking to Superman.

The people at WB should all be fired.

Weird thing for me is JL IMO isn't THAT bad - the potential was there; the cast was there. Too rushed, too forced, horrible CGI, off-pacing, uneven tone.

Ok, yeah, maybe they should be fired, because if WB had just taken their foot off the gas and not done a money grab, but concentrated on building the universe like Marvel, a few years from now there could have been a stellar JL.

I know it can't be helped but I wish the hype train for this would slow down. Everyone is going to start imagining a movie that nothing can live up to. Honestly, how can this end up being anything else but a superhero version of It's A Mad, Mad, Mad World? And that's best case scenario. That movie didn't even have the bloated cast that this thing does. Do you all realize how many characters have to be serviced in this movie? How many 1st tier characters that demand a lot of screen time by themselves? This beast has at least three times the cast size of the Avengers 1st movie to deal with. I feel like Civil War was pushing things about as far as they should go and now there is no way most people will be happy with whatever character development the makers can eke out in the time they have. God, I hope I'm wrong. I should point out that I hate the hell out of crossovers in the comics, so this is probably the ramblings of a old, jaded geek.

The difference between the Marvel and DC film franchises is that Marvel Studios undoubtedly took the time to service each unique individual’s story arc over the past 10 years whereas DC tried (and failed) at playing catch up by taking the short cut.

I’m sorry but nothing can spoil the hype for Infinity War

It doesn’t have to be a Sophie’s Choice or Schindler’s List

Marvel Studios did their homework and put in the love and effort

Case closed

The fat lady has already sung her swan song

The end is nigh

MvCI sucks as a stand-alone game but 2 player wise it’s euphoria

I can spend days playing against my best friend just like in the old days when arcades were a thing and Nintendo sleep overs were the highlight of everyone’s week

Gamora... Thanos has to sacrifice a loved one to get a stone and he "loves" Gamora... the trailer even shows a flashback of her with him so this one seems really likely to me.

Meh, very on the safe side for what is advertised as the "red wedding" of the disneyverse. Thank you, will not watch in theaters.
