Re: AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - (April 27, 2018)

In two weeks you'll already know the whole movie. See it now.

10 years in the making is worth the curiosity factor alone. Plus I want to see what a 500 million budget gets you.

I guess i'm a patient man....nah my son comes back from college on may 4th...still got $5 Tuesdays too...don't wanna give Disney a full share lol

Makes sense.

I really hope this is a great Marvel movie. It would just be nice.

Its gonna be better than Star Wars...that's all that counts for me

Re: AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - (April 27, 2018)

I think..

I felt thor was a stepback again. Odin would be disappointed. He already told his son that his power comes from within and not some weapon. Sure, thor might have needed that to "kill" thanos but he should still have been powerful enough without it to handle his minions easily.

I loved the movie, but I thought it was a poor continuation of Ragnarok? Basically, in Ragnarok, they make a whole point of Asgard being a people, not a world. And then Thanos comes in and kills everyone except Thor/Hulk anyway. Including, I assume, Valkyrie and Korg/Miek, who we never even saw. Though it's obvious that many of the deaths will be walked back in some way (time stone?) in the next part, it's not like they're going to leave Spidey and Black Panther dead, so whatever.

is it worth 35$ USD to see this in 4DX?

Not to mention that even with the Warriors Three and Odin and everyone else dying we got Taika Waititi Thor, and then back to the more traditional MCU Thor. The dialogue humour has always been there with MCU Thor, but he's back to more serious again..

No surprise considering...
His mentor type person and brother both bite it. It would have been interesting to see the actual fight. Valkyrie it would have been nice to at least see a costumed extra, even so as to save an appearance fee. Now we have the same situation as with Lady Sif. She's just in an unknown state, presumed dead.

Regarding the first off screen fight. Sure one on one post-Ragnarok Thor should have handled the Black Order one at all time, but I don't know about all 4, not to mention Thanos with the power stone and aether. Thanos wiped the floor with Hulk. The others weren't no slouches against the other Avengers either.

Edit: was replying to the earlier quote as well, but I must have made a mistake with the multiquoting..
