I would jump on it if HT updated the body and head to P2 quailty.

maybe if the movie gets re-released and changed so it isn't crap, i'd buy re-released figures from it.

I would rebuy all of them if they came with newer bodies, and better heads with the wiggly dreads. That way I wouldn't have to keep customizing them. Here's your battle damaged Scar...

I think seeing how the company's direction, they will do re issues. But it won't be 100% exact replicas. They would change a few bits here and there on their old molds, design a new design packaging wise, and voila!

A new predator to satisfy the new customers (or those who didn't get the chance to get it the first time) and yet something that the old collectors want to purchase too.

Hot Toys would have to run out of different predators to make before they start going back to the AVP well.

A battle damaged Celtic would be cool as hell.

I cant even see what differences battle-damaged Scar/Celtic/Chopper could add anyway that would make them worthy of the title "battle-damaged". Besides a few scratches and blood.

The obvious gap is a decent unmasked Scar Predator - even the Ani-Com release is just an Elder repaint. All the other 'hero' Predators have good unmasked options, and the head alone would sell that one.

Other differences would be no shoulder cannon, detachable bomb unit (apparently engineered into the original if you're brave enough!) and the aforementioned blood and scratches.

As a 'special' HT could also throw in a Predalien chestburster (like in their Snap Kits line).

All in all, there's as much difference there as between the regular and damaged versions of P2.

A friend of mine collects these and from what I've heard, they will re-release them. As long as demand is there. HT will make a lot of people who paid big$$ for these unhappy but, as long as they are labeled Limited Edition and no ES is set. They can/will make more.

There is a high demand for AVP predators and it wll sell......so why not hot toys re-release them.

I thought HT were all about the "collectability" of things and keeping it real and weren't sell-outs?

i thought they were all about squeezing every last penny out of their licenses.
if they figure out new avp stuff will sell, they'll make it.

After Pred 1, there's not much to look forward to, except maybe one or two more Lost Predators from the second movie. So what else could they do?

The AVP Preds have lots of areas that could be improved. I'm sure we won't see direct reissues, but new and more detailed figures with new heads, sure. I'd be surprised if it didn't happen, to be quite honest.
