Hey FACEBOX,

What is the superglue trick??

I havent tried that and have always been annoyed with how loose my Aliens Warrior feet have been.
What you do is put some glue on the rim of the cup while the ball joint is still in the cup. You wait a few seconds, and then you turn turn the joint. You can repeat this process until the joint is nice and tight. But don't keep putting the glue in the same spot each time. Put it in other areas of the joint.

Frankly, I'm a bit disappointed with my HT aliens and preds as well.
It's just no fun to pay so much for figures that are so fragile. The whole point of having an "action" figure is that you can pose it... I look at my DML WWII collection and they're all in perfect shape after years of reposing.
I look at my SST SW collection and they're fine and dandy as well.
I look at my HT aliens and preds and I cringe at the thought that they might break if I try to repose them.
It's just ridiculous.

That shouldn't happen with such expensive collectibles.

I have used the "super-glue-trick" on my ALIENS WARRIOR, so now the joints are stiff and hold a pose great! Better than ever before.

Here is what you do:
Make sure that the clear ball-joint sockets are in place. (most of these are cracked and cause the feet/hips to just fall clear off)
Then get some super-glue and drop about 2-3 drops into the socket.
Quickly place the ball into the socket and start moving it around. DO NOT STOP MOVING IT UNTILL THE GLUE DRIES!
This usually takes 2-3 minutes of rotating the feet/hips/arms around.
You will then start to feel the joints tightening up.
Once it's all dried up, you'll feel like you have a brand new figure in hand.

What this does is repair the cracks, and makes the socket smaller. Thus, making the joint stiffer. (lol *stiff joint)

I would not lead you astray. Trust me, it works! :angelsmil

if you get a response, this is great advice. i would imagine quality control is a big concern at hot toys and they take it very seriously. especially if you show them pics of the dozens of $100+ figures you've bought. :lol

UHG! :horror Then those who purchase several HT figs should have a memebers card @ HT..:lol

Ummm I wouldn't get too upset. I emailed customer service regarding my ALIENS arm problem. They responded and just asked for some info, and the receipt. I also provided pics. They were very nice and helped me out w/my @ the time damaged ALIEN warrior kit. I strongly recommended email them 1st requesting a new leg & foot. :D

what is the mail friend? thank you in advance, i know some time ago there was a thread about this argument here, but now i don't know if i can find it, and what kind of payment they accept? how it's work so,
thank you pal

This is their email: [email protected]
And you don't need to pay to have your defective parts replaced. Hot Toys will send you new parts free of charge. Hope this helps.

WOW really??!! that's cool, i have to send them some pics of the broken part, and the invoice as proof of the purchase? like the paypal mail you receive when you had send a payment is good?

ok , don't matter if i've bought it from an ebay store , right? ( maybe this is a stupid question )

It doesn't matter. Worst case scenario they will want you to send back the broken parts and you'll have to pay to have it shipped to Hot Toys. But at least you'll have nice sturdy joints for your trouble.

but the people who had already do it had to pay for shiping and the request of send back the broken parts ? 'cause elder say that it is free

If Hot Toys doesn't make you send them anything, then they will send you the fixed piece for free. But if you have to send something into them than they're going to charge you for shipping both ways, and maybe even a service chare.

ok listen i 've only to change the 2 feets , not entire legs, if they want them back and i have to pay, for only 2 feet i fix them myself

Oh, sorry. I see what your saying. It's worth a shot to see if Hot toys will send free feet. I think they will. If not, then it's a real easy fix.

yes, i'll send an e-mail to them on monday, tomorrow or sunday i'll do some good shots of the cracks inside the feet, i'll let you know

You will not have to send anything back to HT. I emailed customer service they requested pix of the broken parts and a copy of my receipt. I bought it at a local retailer and scanned and attached to my email. They then sent me 2 legs and feet. It took about 5 days for the replacements to arrive. They do stand behind their products.
