I don't know too much about ebay. How come it jumped from $1.04 to a $1000 at the beginning? Did someone actually bid $1000? Why not $500...or $100....or $2? Why don't they just snipe at the end to keep the price low? Or are these bids being done by the seller to raise the price?

Why is it hard to believe that someone bid $1000 if it ended at $13,000+? I don't really see anything suspicious about it. Most of the bidders had a lot of feedback. It's true that it's smarter to just wait until the last minute and then bid your maximum, but my experience as a seller shows me that a lot of people don't do that.
