Back in the '80s there was a bumper sticker that said, "Cocaine is God's way of telling you you have too much money." I guess it should be updated to "Babe Ruth action figures..."

I don't know too much about ebay. How come it jumped from $1.04 to a $1000 at the beginning? Did someone actually bid $1000? Why not $500...or $100....or $2? Why don't they just snipe at the end to keep the price low? Or are these bids being done by the seller to raise the price?:confused:
 
Why is it hard to believe that someone bid $1000 if it ended at $13,000+? I don't really see anything suspicious about it. Most of the bidders had a lot of feedback. It's true that it's smarter to just wait until the last minute and then bid your maximum, but my experience as a seller shows me that a lot of people don't do that.
 
What's the best thing about this figure? I'm guessing in 10 years it will be worth about $200.

It's a friggin repaint of a toy!!!!
 
In a few months Babe's arm will prob fall off in the box and just rattle around like every other McFarlane figure.
