Can someone tell me if the head sculpts sold on ebay by Mad Moose Games and Callahan Toys are the real deal or Trevor's recasts?

This guy has it on his FB page (https://www.facebook.com/callahan.toys that he sculpts and paints so I'm thinking he might be legit, but I wanted to check here first:

Madmoose is counterfeit. He's selling recast. Stay away. Joey Callahan is selling his own sculpted heads

I've seen those, but they're above my price range, unfortunately.

The only way to get a legit cast anymore is thru Proteus 360
Here's the thread they're $180 and only come painted

While the legit Trevor sculpts are available through Proteus (only painted, as noted), the average collector is not going to spend that kind of money on a sculpt (regardless of the high quality paint-job).

I see an inherent problem here. Many people are inevitably going to buy the cheaper recasts (even if they don't realize it as being such).

Personally, I'd rather buy directly from the artist. Honestly, I miss the days of Trevor's $35.00 unpainted sculpts...
