It's a liquor, but it's actually the original Root beer recipe when root beer was invented back in the 1700s. This place has recreated it.

I just got a bottle of this. It smells just like root beer. Has that root beer taste too, albeit with a lot of alcohol. Definitely worth trying.

Anyone ever had this?

I cannot wait! :rock

Cool! You make your own beer?

I did more when I lived in Oklahoma because the beer selection was laughable, but not so much now that I'm in Houston.

I mostly used beer store kits, but the pumpkin ale is the one beer I made using a recipe I found online. It's the most involved beer I've made because I buy a pumpkin to cut up, bake, mash and boil. I try and tweak it each year, so I'm looking forward to making it again this year. My only problem is I wish pumpkins would come out sooner since it takes a little longer for this to ferment in the bottles. I have yet to be able to have it ready by Halloween. :gah:
