There is a massive pumpkin shortage this year so it wouldn't surprise me to see a lot of these pumpkin brews effected as well.

I know the price of a case of Post Road went up by $15 from last year. That must be why.

I saw some pumpkins at the grocery store last night, but I'm waiting for pie pumpkins to show up so I can make my pumpkin ale.

The best pumpkin ale I've had is brewed by Schlafly's in St. Louis. It's like liquid pumpkin pie.

Def a top 3. Had two of those last night before dinner. Then an Octoberfest from Bells to go with Southwestern Pumpkin soup. Good pairing.

We need to find a way to ship some beer around the country. I know you guys have some regional beers we don't get in Texas and vice versa.

I've been shipping Fedex the last few months and print my labels online. Then I just drop off the package at my local Fedex office. No questions asked.

I never found it. I will check the liquor store. I just moved and there is one right down the street. I go in for a bottle of *cough* wine every now and then.

My parents went up to Pittsburgh earlier this year, so I had them pick me up a bottle. I posted this before, but it smells just like root beer. It's interesting stuff.

It should smell and taste like root beer so that's good to know. It's supposedly the original recipe for root beer, only the original had alcohol in it.

It definitely has that root beer flavor, just with a good amount of alcohol too.
