Has anybody ever had some CHIMAY ale, it's like $5 for a bottle thats less than 12oz. Dude at the LIQ store said i'd try one and i'd be hooked! So i got one, but have not drank it yet. Anybody had this?

I have had it. It is good, but overpriced in my opinion. I am a cheap ******* when it comes to alcohol though.

I honestly don't know. Danny would usually order it for people to try when we were at this one beer place we go to. I have no idea which one it was. I just know it cost like 8 bucks and came in a fancy glass.

Keiths...amazing and my fav beer overall, a good ol' Halifax beer:

and a beer from the halifax brewery but I could not find a pic due to the brewery being sold in 2001 is Frosted Frog, excellent when it is so cold that ice crystals form on the bottle:

Just came home with these.. 3 German crystal clear beers and 1 English Ale.

Weihenstephaner Heffe is superb. One of the best on the market.

Hello all i am sort of new to SSC forums and just stumbled upon this thread and thought "hey i like beer, i like different beer, why not join in the beer chat".
I actually prefer Modelo, Heineken, or whatever beer that actually tastes like beer.None of this domestic crap.Who's with me?!?!?!?

I can't do nothing for wine.
I'm beer pretty much but have been know to drink some makers mark or yeager shots.

yeah it was my death...errr, wedding. thanks. i don't usually drink too much wine but i've already paid for it so i have to finish it off. i had to give away a keg of beer.

I don't really like strong beer. The perfect alc level for me is between 5-6%

But I do enjoy Belgian brews which tend be around 8-12% strong!

This was my latest purchase, very tasty beer. 11%, but it felt more like 8-9%.. After the whole bottle I felt funny inside!

When I come to Sweden the only beer you find in supermarkets is 3.5° !!

You need to go to liquor stores to buy the good stuff at outrageous prices !!!


Anyway, St-Bernardus is a good choice, but we have so much better beers !

Try Duvel, Leffe, Westmalle, West-Vleteren, Orval, Chimay, ...

Haha, same bottle. Although I didn't get the cool case you've got next to yours. I've got a very rare bottle of Earthmonk coming in soon, have you ever had that? The online retailer liquidsolutions got a small shipment in so I'll finally get to try one I've been looking for for sometime.
