Not that I hate the realistic boots (the photos I've seen of it here looks utterly fantastic) but I have to agree. While I'm definitely open to switching Bane's pants for a baggier one over time (limiting my budget for a different project at the moment), changing his boots in favor of real ones is the only thing I'm still very apprehensive about.

I don't know why, but I prefer sculpted boots. Mostly a durability issue on my part, since I enjoy having to pose my figures around quite a lot. The sculpted boots also make me worry less in regards to the material becoming worn out over time.

Okay. I started to do the whole bleaching with my pants but the Camo doesn't seam to fade. Is this normal and should I just start dye process?

Did you add very hot water to the beach?

Try that first.

It depends on the pants you have, if they are the FCS just move on with the dye. Make sure your dye is hot and it may save you from a re dunk.
Pretty much one shot of dye is good for the FCS pants.

If you have those other pants circling around with the small waist, then you may be in for a couple of water based paint dunks of grey back over to navy dye before they get to a color you are happy with.

Yup. Added very hot water and bleach. Let it sit for 15-20 min but nothin. N I'm not sure which ones I have, but here's a pic if that helps.

Those are the pants I bought too, they don't bleach sorry. Best bet is to do what Commtech said about 10 pages back and dye them black to get rid of the camo and then water down some grey acrylic paint and give it about 4 coats, ruffing it up inbetween coats so they don't set like hard as wood haha. I'm only upto the dying stage so far, getting some paint in the next few days

i orered a pair of those a few day ago , are they cloth material like cotton ?

Not cotton, I tried a natural dye and it mostly washed out. I bought some Idye poly and it did the trick, so it's a synthetic...something I don't know much about materials sorry bro

They feel like a cotton/polyester cloth. I guess i was wrong, but for them costing 20 bucks and being waterproof isn't a bad deal. Too bad it isn't helping me out with the dye process.

What are you using for the knee pads on these? I was going to buy some HT Bane pants from ebay but seem to be a bit expensive at the moment to buy for just the knee pads
