Bank Robber Joker/New Sculpt - PHOTO Thread

Looks so real ^ nice man, the wait is absolutely killing me, damnit, if mine isnt here this week, im gunna.........do......something.......argh i havnt thought of what i'll do yet, because it WILL be here
btw i know this is like the 50th time ive said this, but DAMN i am seeing so much variation in the mouth makeup, every damn figure looks different, esp under the bottom lip. some follow the lip, others just go straight across it, VERY heavily, i like the lip followed one
EDIT - actually i think it may just be my eyes......maybe

Actually I thought the facial paint for such a random and messy pattern being surprisingly consistent. I went through a few boxes and they all look the same to me.

Looking at the early prototype pics I was worried that Joker's nose would be too straight like the V1 but HT nailed it perfectly.

It's Heath all over huh, every angle, every where? They freakin nailed it All we need is a smiling sculpt i say. Kind of strange they didnt throw one in with this, i mean, as a 2nd sculpt, with the slick hair, for the mask. Esp considering in the bank robbery scene, the very first time we see him unmasked, he spits out that iconic, phsycotic massive heath grin. Would have been much better than just a wry smirk/grin that we've got (although its an amazing sculpt alsl the same) But it would be a shame to have such a great sculpt hidden under the mask, which is what i assume HT would have suspected people would be doing, masking the 2nd head, otherwise, no real use for the mask, except to hold, but that defeats the purpose of a bank robber joker LMAO i am confusing myself here

That is a brilliant idea. I'm not going to do it, because I like that sculpt for the mask but that is an awesome idea.

It looks painted to me. They painted the ears on the first one.

He's here! Nothing fancy, just a few shots. I repainted/touched up the head on the V1 body. Basically made it neater...got rid of the tears under his eyes (God I hated those), brightened up the face paint, and did away with most of the God-awful streaks under his mouth and the black paint running down his face. I'm pleased. Also, I now absolutely hate the V1 sculpt.

what did you use to touch up the white paint?

I mixed some white and flesh tone acrylic paint together. Apple Barrel paints, specifically. Then I just dipped the brush in, wiped off almost all the paint, and drybrushed it on the whole face.

Thats so weird, Agens joker clearly appears to have unpainted ears when the rest all do? Or am i seeing things again. I like that touch up btw, nicely done, it looks a bit 'too' clean for me, but still a great job

i'm thinking of modding mine
those tears do get to me sometimes
and the drooling is a little too pronounced for me
i like the messed up paint though
it fits Nolan's description of what he wanted
for his face paint to look like a Francis Bacon painting
and for the make-up to reflect how decrepit, ugly and twisted he is on the inside


the messy make-up reminds me of the Arkham Asylum Joker too
which is a big plus in my book

I think it's just shadows and the quality of light playing a visual trick.

I painted the ears on mine.

I just completely finished the repaints for mine and Spliff's. Pics in a few.

my fave make-up job is the Mob meeting scene
that was my fave, my other is the interrogation
i'd love to repaint my Joker to look like that
but i wouldn't be able to get it right
Les would be able to, if he could copy his own Version 1 head repaint and apply it to the new head sculpt..
i'd snatch that up quicker than the pencil trick XD

Alright. Mine's on the left, Spliff's is the right. Unfortunately since my camera's old, it doesn't pick up a lot of subtle details that distinguish the two. For one, Spliff's has more skin tone showing through the paint, whereas mine has a very even layer of paint, except of course the worry lines on his forehead and such. Spliff's has darker, more defined smears above the eyes, and the makeup under his eyes is a bit runnier. Same with the makeup around the mouth. I went for his look when he burnt the money on both, but Spliff wanted his a little messier. I'm completely happy with them. It'd probably behoove me to invest in an airbrush eventually, though.

yours is the best repaint i've seen
i want mine to resemble the poster more than the mob meeting now!!
