Bank Robber Joker/New Sculpt - PHOTO Thread

Mine came on Tuesday. Love the figure, but a warning: the hair on both my heads came BROWN. Did anyone else have this happen?

Unfortunately I was unable to take/post pics (home PC is wrecked), and I was considering contacting BBTS to receive a replacement, but a little acrylic ceramics paint went a long way and only took about five minutes. I just dry brushed it on (light or not at all around the roots and the back of the head for that 'spray-on' color look), wiped off the excess with a paper towel, and now you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between mine and a correct production sample.

So yeah, anyone else's BR Joker get skipped at the dry-brush station?

Anybody else order one from BBTS? I was thinking of getting one from there, but I want to dispel any thoughts of them getting a bad "batch" first.

Kind of surprised this idea didn't come to me sooner, but I put DCD's tie on the HT Joker and I'm pleased with how it turned out. Definitely better than HT's attempt.

Could you post some side to side photo to compare the scale of DCD and hot toys?

Not easily, no. The DCD one is just a smidge bigger, but the knot size is adjustable since it's a real tie. No elastic or anything, it's actually a tie.

Hair looks brown on yours, too. I checked out the packaging on mine and apparently they're getting them from Diamond/DCD, so I wonder if the 'American' batch are the ones missing the green paint apps or if there's just a few flukes out there.

...or I could have a monitor at work making it look brown.
