It looks brown to me too actually.

it's a brownish green. but from previous photos i've seen on this board, it's looks pretty much just like everyone elses. unless someone has a joker with green hair all i've seen are ones that look like mine. but the hair doesn't really bother, it's to awesome of a sculpt for me to hate on it for the fact that the one problem is that the hair is a few shades to dark.

Oh yeh totally, just that, now that it was brought up, it does look slightly more brown than mine. There's bound to be variance. It's how it looks in hand/on your shelf that matters.

From pics I've seen the hair does appear took dark, and in certain pics, even brown. I don't have the figure in hand yet to tell for certain, but I think the hair was just made too dark a green, appearing brown in low lighting. Hot Toys may have made the hair this color on purpose, as the Joker's hair often appears brown in the bank robbery scene of the film. But the hair was actually green like the rest of the film, only noticeable really, under sunlight. Then again, I suspect Nolan did a few things to avoid tipping us off that the Joker was assisting in the bank robbery, such as use specific lighting, or CGI, or maybe even not dying the hair for earlier scenes.

Thankfully repainting the hair is something even I can do, and will do since I can't stand how it looks in the images I've seen.

Just recieved this guy !. Awesome figure , like an idiot I tried to put the tie back on my normal joker after I had put the new head on and it snapped !.
Ahh well , I was gonna change it anyway.

Does anyone know where I can find a suitable chain for my V1 Joker? ebay only has one thats included with the pants for $50 but, wait for it...., I already own HT pants . I figured someone out there must've used a different chain. I've resorted to looking for little chains for bird cage swings at the pet store but they didn't have anything (it was a funny exchange with the clerk by the way!). Any help is much appreciated.

Go to a craft store like Michaels. They have TONS of chains in the jewlery/beads section.

For those worried about the hair color, which seems to be a big fear of Joe's shipment folks, I'll repost this image. Can't speak for how it looks on various folks' PCs, but as I see it posted here, it is 100% faithful in color to my Joker's hair. A muted, bluish green color, kinda like a forest green type, with brown highlights.

It's not proper Joker green, but it is not brown, it definitely is a shade of green.

The bank robber Joker got me so excited I had to google around and found this awesome forum that I know will answer all my collectible questions in the future!

So I was at my LCBS this weekend and I asked about the Bank Robber Joker. She told me that the Bank Robber was limited and they're only getting 1, whereas the other Joker should be readily available. Is this true? I haven't really found anything online saying one is rarer then the other.

I really want to be able to dress the Bank Robber Joker in his normal clothes. The Bank Robber has really cool accessories as well as much cooler packaging. Is it possible to convert the Bank Robber Joker to the normal Joker if you buy his clothes and whatnot? In addition, where is the best place to buy these random parts? I may just decide to get the regular Joker with one of the bank robber Joker heads.

And of course, what is the best place to actually buy this thing? eBay has a lot, but these guys want anywhere from $20 to $50 to ship it! I kept seeing in this thread about a guy named "Joe", but couldn't find much else. I found one site that had it for pre-order for about $125 + shipping, which was about $20. Is that the best deal around?

If you just want the regular Joker with the Bank Robber head then it would be easier just to buy the regular Joker and get just the Bank Robber head off of Ebay if it is available. It is easy to switch these guy's heads.

Yeah, I've been considering it. The normal Joker allows for more thematic positioning, since he's in some variant of that costume for the overwhelming majority of the movie. But the BR Joker looks so awesome and the accessories are great on top of the packaging as well. Is the normal Joker much easier to find? is eBay the only place to really get the spare parts?

I think it was $99 at the LCBS for the normal Joker. But then again, I googled around for prices and it seems like $150 was the given rate for either one, so maybe they were selling the DC Direct model.

Most likely it was the DCD Joker that you saw in person.

Yeah, must have been the DCD version. It looked pretty good, but not quite as good. I found the boxes for both and confirmed it was the DCD.

So I guess that goes back to my original questions.

- Is the Hot Toys Joker any rarer than the Bank Robber Joker? Are either of them rare? I don't mind buying one of them now if I have to, but if I can safely wait it would be better financially for me.

- Can you buy the necessary accessories and turn one version into the other? If so, where is the best place to buy those accessories? I'm hoping that if I buy one, I can always in essence have the other one by buying bits and pieces if I want to later down the road.

- What are you guys paying for this? The cheapest I've found shipped is about $140-145.
