about that small box: Sideshow has been shrinking down the boxsize more often lately. The Stormtrooper PF also comes in a small box, and IIRC The Joker's box isn't that big either. And I'm glad they're doing it. As long as the statues are still protected well (but that wasn't the case with the stormtrooper).

The size of the box is determined by the size and the pose of the statue. The Baroness is standing straight up with detachable arms. Vampirella PF is much larger because of the size of the base. As long as statues stand straight up with removable arms, the boxes should be very small.

So, I was sent that email from SS stating that I need to fix the warped gun barrel on my own, and I replied telling them that that solution wasn't good enough for such a high priced statue. I asked what my options were (return, fix on my own, some sort of compensation) and I simply got an email stating that I would be receiving a replacement piece.

Either they don't want to pay out a partial refund or they don't want to take any type of return for this piece because I was originally told that all the replacement pieces were warped and there wasn't anything they could do...

I guess we'll see what the deal is when I get the replacement

It's a beautiful figure. If you can get one with a well-painted base AND get one where the arms will stay on, consider yourself extremely lucky. Of the two I received, the other one has a much better stitched backside, but this one isn't bad.

Here's a picture of my Baroness that came today next to the hooded Cobra Commander (I really enjoy seeing everyone's pix by the way):

The top of the base appears a little smudgy, but the rest of her looks good so I think I got lucky. I ended up with number 333 which I thought was kind of funny.

I'm really looking forward to the next Joe PF now. How cool would a Barbeque or a Firefly be!

If they did, I'm almost positive it will be the usual Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow. Of course. I myself would like to see a Destro, Major Bludd, and a Scarlett.

Huh?!?! Did they announce that the PF line is dead? Why!! Haven't these guys all sold out? Destro would be awesome too but why would they stop now?

Yeah, they have sold out, more or less. SS is probably sitting on some of at least the Baroness. I'm fairly positive that they like to mark a figure as sold out and then, bam, it always pops back up for a second chance, or a few more in stock, etc.

To be honest, I'm hoping that is the case this time, because I want this exclusive now.

But no new preview or even a sneak since the Baroness went up for preorder is a kind of bad sign for the line...

I know...and knowing is half the battle.

Now that I have CC and Baroness PFs, I will only collect the bad guys. Destro is at the top of my list. Maybe Storm Shadow, Zartan and Firefly too.

P.S. - What is next for the 1/6 line? It's been quiet for too long.
