The Bates Motel Facebook page had posted a link to a quiz last month. If you answered all the questions correctly they asked you to sign the Bates Motel guest book and leave your address. After you did that they said Norma and Norman would be in contact with you soon. I had completely forgotten about it until FedEx dropped that off yesterday.

Got a FedEx delivery from the Bates Motel today.

Inside was the following.

Pretty awesome of them to send these out for free to fans. Inside the guest book is 50 art print cards featuring art submitted by fans.

Congrats, that's so cool.

Pretty good first episode. I'm guessing by the end of this season, either Dylan's dad, Dylan or Emma, or all three, will be dead at the hands of Norman.

Vera Farmiga is amazing. I love how awkward she is. She was great saying bye to the Sheriff! She could really do well in an all out comedy too! I loved how she said to Norman something like "unstable women seem DRAWN to you!" without the slightest bit of irony!

Oh, and Norman's reaction during dinner with Emma!

Still a bit bored with Dylan's storylines. And I'm kinda "meh" about the club Norma visited.

I think they're doing a great job with building Norman's character and showing you how he became the character in Psycho. And Freddie is doing an excellent job.

Anybody else notice Norma's hairstyle change? I wonder if this means she's supposed to be more harried, frazzled, loony, this season?

Agreed about the Dylan character and storyline, it's a bit weak. I guess he and Caleb are supposed to serve as a counterbalance to Norman and Norma. How much you guys wanna bet they all gonna end up dead, save for Norman, of course.

So, Woods Weirdo is the new Marijuana Mastermind of White Pine Bay? That storyline is going nowhere fast.

And we now have to add abandonment issues to the raft of other things afflicting Norman? I'm going to go out on a limb here, but this cannot end well.

Just found out about this show and we are in first season and love it ! Great acting... and nice fast pace

After some very shaky episodes to start the season, this show has taken a decided turn for the better. Even though I could do with less of Caleb, Woods Weirdo and the Arcanum Club. Romero's veering off into that territory as well.
