I'm guess Norman didn't do it. I'm guessing Eric (the person she was yelling at on the phone to stay away from her) did it.

Interesting thought. Someone else had mentioned this to me also.

In any case, we are seeing all the little things starting to add up to push Norman over the edge, eventually.

I think he did it, but the guy on the phone will be blamed for it. The cool thing about this show (for me anyways) is that while watching it I tend to forget that it's a prequel i.e. no one will ever suspect or point the finger at Norman Bates for anything because in Psycho everyone in that town thought he was a saint. :lol

In the finale, just before Miss Watson dies, we here Norma say "You know what you have to do" (in Norman's mind).

Didn't she say this before in another episode? Does anyone remember what incident took place?

When he broke in to the deputy's house?

Season 2 will have to do something completely new to get me to watch. The whole crazy town with drugs and killers thing is already kinda old.

And man that teacher was hot as hell. Sucks they killed her off.

I'm slightly obsessed with this show. so filling the void til American Horror Story returns.

That show better step up their game as well. Season 1 was excellent and I found myself getting bored with 2 about half way through it.

What are you talking about?? There has only been one season, season 1. The show started this year and it is only May. How can there be a second season already? Perhaps you mean Winter and Spring?

He was. And TBH I gave up on American Horror Story midway through season 1. Never saw how it ended. Tried to watch season 2 and the same thing happened. :lol

Why? What didn't you like?

If I recall correctly, the first episode has some intense stuff going,

like Norma killing the guy in the kitchen

Does it get a little soapy-serial-y? Maybe, but it's still intense stuff they're dealing with, and the performances are all phenomenal across the board.

The writing was awful, the direction was unfocused and the editing was chopped to hell. I watched the second episode tonight and it was better than the first, but barely. Freddie Highmore seems to be struggling with his performance but it improved a touch between episodes, so hopefully he'll find it soon and poor Vera is doing the best she can with the ****ty script she's having to read from.

Well then I can't say that the show is going to improve significantly enough to get it to a watchable level for you. Personally the only thing I can criticize about the show is that maybe it gets a little soapy, but the brilliant acting and (I think) excellent writing elevate it to a higher level than your average serialized drama.

I'd be curious to see if you still feel this same way after watching all 10 episodes, but if you feel that strongly against the show after the first two, I'd say cut your losses.
