I really love the Arkham Asylum default bat suit. IMO it's the best interpretation of the suit in any medium.

For that reason I was planning for the Arkham PF to be the Batman in my Justice League setup. The original Batman PF is grossly oversized, even though people give it a free pass and criticize GL to an obscene degree. Sadly, this Arkham PF is even larger than the Batman PF. :(

It's a fantastic piece, and the EX is great. I imagine he'll look perfect with Arkham Joker. I just wish SS would've scaled him better with their other DC 1/4 pieces.

That's a bummer to hear about the scale. I had the same issues and sold my original PF because I didn't like how bulky he came out and that he was bigger than Superman, heck he was substantially bigger than any of the other 30 PF's I owned. He was competing with Apocalypse and Hulk for muscle mass. I also liked that the arkham version had both feet on the same plane. I was hoping to easily create my own custom base to get rid of some of the excess height

Can't say about the comic PF, but I think SSC had this scaled well based on how he appeared in the game after seeing Rulk's group pic of AA, Keaton, and comic PFs. Batman's a beast in the games, and maybe SSC didn't think that some might have this as a representative of the comic suit to display along with their other DC comic PFs.

There is a group pic with other SSC 1/4 scale statues? Please post it or the link to it. I am so torn if i should keep this or invest only in prime 1.

We're on the same wavelength. I especially disliked how he made the women PFs look like small girls. Pity because I think AA is a heckuva sculpt with an awesome EX and the right fabric use. I just don't understand why SS doesn't have their 1/4 scale match up better. This is the 2nd time with Bats! I imagine they only considered it as a matching piece with the AA Joker.

With AA Bats off the table for me, in terms of a Justice League display, I'm gonna have to keep a close eye on the PrototypeZ Batman kit whenever it comes out.

He'd look fine displayed with the comic PF; they're both behemoths. But as someone's "Justice League" Batman, next to Superman and Wonder Woman, he's too large. :(

Here's one of the pictures posted by our fellow freak Rulk on the SSC Modern Age Batman PF thread that I think could give us a better sense of size comparison:

That was what I was actually trying to say, buddy :) While perhaps the comic PF is "too large" for the JLA line compared to at least Superman and the old GL PF, AA Batman is supposed to be the beast that he was in the game, and he isn't designed to fit the other line which is the comic at least in terms of size, unfortunately for those who wanted to make AA their Batman for the comic JLA PF set-up.

No "perhaps" about it. He is too large compared to Superman, GL, and WW. Yeah, there are no bitterness on me. ;)

I guess as long as the future JL installments (Aquaman, Flash) come out okay, then my mood will lift.

AA is a beautiful piece though. If he was even the same size (or slightly smaller) as the comic PF, I'd consider keeping him. His costume sells the padding and armor after all. However, if you took his gauntlet and had Superman PF wear it, I'm under the impression that it would slip off. lol

The guy is a beast in the game, but I don't think it should've impacted his scale if he's to Sideshow's 1/4 proportions. I think their focus was on strictly making him in tune with the upcoming AA Joker. Or maybe 1/4 scale is gradually growing like how PG's artist would draw her ****s bigger and bigger and see if anyone noticed. :lol

LOL @ "perhaps" :lol

Anyway, while SSC's known for inconsistencies as far as scale is concerned, maybe they did use the character's stats from the game to give it accuracy to the source material. If the Joker comic PF tends to be smaller in height vs the AA Joker, that's because Joker's only 6 feet in height as per the game stats compared to his being around 6'5" in most comics database. Arkhamverse and comic Batmen are both listed as 6'2", but the game tend to make him seem like he's at least 6'5" with a mass of a Mr. Olympia. Even the 1/6 Hot Toys Batman from Arkham City makes the 1/6 movies and 1/6 comic Batmen look like wimps :lol

The pessimist in me still thinks you're giving SS too much credit with scale. I'll chalk it up to their consistent inconsistency? ;) But now I shudder to think what a Rocksteady Man of Steel would look like! Although I'm always agreeable to more Wonder Woman if they ever dabble in the Justice League.

Hopefully better than the New52 Superman.

Okay so I just received my Arkham City Batman Exclusive PF from SSC. Lets just say he is a total beast. I am sitting at work with him on my desk I couldn't wait to get him home. Paint work is impressive. No flaws that I can see. The pose is pretty dynamic. The cape is actually really nice. You just need to take 2 minutes to mess with it and you are good to go. If you had and doubts about buying this statue get over them and pick him up. He is a awesome representation of the character. I would snap some shots but I have ****** ****** lighting in my office. My only nit pick is I think the sculpt could have been angled up a tad. I will get some Nikon shots when I get a chance.

Can't believe how fast this went from PO to delivery. Thought it was some kind of mistake when people started posting pics. I am not a gamer anymore (probably haven't touched a gaming system in 3 or 4 years) and even own one of the Arkham games that I have never played. That said, this version was never for me, but it looks like it came out great! I did order the Arkham Joker, and I hope it gets the same treatment.

261/750 arrived. Only the very tip of the 3rd gauntlet on his left arm is chipped. But I cant find the tip in the within the styro foam. Cape hides defect by default.

Mine has a chipped bat ear.
