The collector's edition looks cool, but I'd definitely wait a few months, when they're start collecting dust, retailers will start marking them down. I've noticed it happens with ALL the special editions of games, GTAIV, Fallout, RE5, even the highly hyped Legendary Edition of Halo 3, with that Master Chief helmet which was touted as a highly limited item, is still sitting at my local Fry's.

Yeah 50,000 is a real limited item.

Just a note after purchasing this game on Amazon with the code. It has FREE RELEASE DATE shipping so you will have the game on August 25th for only $48.49! Why would you buy it anywhere else? And the $5 off code works on the collectors edition too!

Is that just for the regular release? I still see $5.98 for shipping for the collector's edition, even after adding the $50off code.

Am I the only one getting it for the 360 with the hopes they eventually port over the Joker content as DLC (like they did with Vader/Yoda for Soul Caliber IV)?

I just like the 360 controller more and am more invested in the achievement system than I am the trophies on the PS3.

I don't think it ever said "Free release date shipping". I think it said something more along the lines of "Release day shipping available".....and maybe people got that confused with the "Free Super Saver shipping" and combined the two?

EDIT: I was also thinking....if this hasn't been mentioned already. With Hot Toys already having connections with DC and having their own 'Video Game Masterpiece' line; I would think figures of Batman and Joker are definately a possibility or not?

I'll right I finally placed my order through amazon using that $5 off code and free super-saver shipping. I know I won't get it as fast as I would if I spent the $6, but I don't buy video games very often and I try to spend as little as possible on them when I do. But I just had to get the Collector's version on this one, especially since it was like only $25 or so more after the $5 code.
