Counting down the hours...Batman, Batman, Batman, Batman, Batman. I cannot wait. I have an exam and then I'll probably play some Riddler's Revenge with Robin just to get reacquainted with his controls.

So, DLC impressions.
It was okay. A bit of map re-use and backtracking. The story was really a bit meh. Infact the whole DLC felt pointless. Seeing how Harley handled Joker's death was good, and playing as Robin was fun too, but otherwise it was a bit meh. I liked how Batman really doesn't seem to give a crap anymore, too. It would have been nice to have a couple other villains show up, maybe a bit of Mr Freeze or Two-Face, to make the DLC feel a bit bigger. It's a shame this is the only story DLC we're getting, because it was kind of a disappointment. Release extra DLC for each main villain, to show how they are following the game's ending, would've been nice. Also, the synopsis said you were going to shut down Arkham City for good, but that didn't happen, so I dunno. Not terrible DLC, just a bit pointless. If it'd added Robin and Nightwing to free roam, it'd be more worthwhile. Nice Scarface cameo as well.

I'm still expecting Joker to be alive in the next game, despite everything. He might turn up right at the end of it, because it wouldn't be a cop-out to bring him back because everything seems set up for that....

I'll wait to get this DLC. Kotaku's reports says it's pretty linear, and just more of the same with new skins. They even go as far as saying it's worth more to buy the Catwoman DLC (if you don't already have it) instead of this one.

True, I'd say you definitely get a lot more for your money getting the Catwoman DLC. A decent story, a playable free roam and challenge map character, who's far more unique than Robin is, and an appearance from Poison Ivy, as well as her 'base'.

I remember first entering that place, only...

Her 7 story hotel/base was nothing more than a small room, bleh. You don't even get to fight her with CW, which was kinda disappointing.

didn't the game come with the catwomen DLC if you bought it? mine did. I'm intrigued by the Robin DLC here but from what I'm hearing it's not all that great. Does it come with any new skins?

Yeah, but if someone's a big Poison Ivy fan they'll probably consider her a big plus of the Catwoman DLC.
So, without any spoilers. The new DLC worth it?
Not really. It's not terrible, but adds basically nothing to the story and has no really memorable moments. Playing as Robin in a story mode is good, but you can't take him to free roam with, which sucks. Not the worse 800 MSPoint DLC ever, but when you consider RDR's Undead Nightmare DLC, this one just sucks.

You get Red Robin and Animated Robin skins. Might as well buy the Arkham Bundle which includes quite a bit of stuff for 1200 points.

Just to throw more fuel on the fire. It's not worth it. This thing was supremely over-hyped. I think it lasted an hour and I will probably never play it again. I was expecting complete free roam with Robin and all you got was this new section of the Steel Mill.

Arkham 3 better be a giant sandbox in Gotham. It's all I ever wanted since Grand Theft Auto 3 came out since it introduced the sandbox to consoles.

Just finished the DLC, and I can honestly say it wasn't worth $9.99.

I thought Batman would have to fight the giant Joker statue/robot, but i was dead wrong =/. I'm already irritated that they left Nightwing off the DLC itself, but the lackluster story makes me feel like I got cheated out of my money.

I thought Batman would have to fight the giant Joker statue. I thought It was going to be a mechanized robot, but i was dead wrong =/

Yup, a disappointing experience all together. A slight distraction, but not worth the price of admission.

Oh well...now the long wait till Arkham 3.

Yeah, a fight with the Joker robot would've been amazing, it could burst out the top of the steel mill and walk through Arkham City Godzilla-style, and just destroy it all, which would've fitted with the synopsis of shutting down Arkham City for good. And it'd have been memorable. And I thought it was going that way with the Wonder City robots being activated. But no.

Finished the DLC. I have to say, I actually really enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting much, so I felt it was a decent length.

I liked the begining where the TV kept malfunctioning saying "Yo left me to die" over and over. Made me think Joker wasn't dead for sure.

And everyone should be glad we finally actually got to fight Harley! I was nice being able to smack her after 2 games.

I'm glad to see the Pregnancy kit was just a joke afterall with baby Scarface. I figured the Joker/Harley would be sick enough to pull that!

And I'm not even sure the real Batman got saved by Robin. Or that the real Batman even made it out of Arkham City. Since he's been acting so odd since that blackout scene, it might not even be Bruce. Or he could have gotten swapped out during those 2 days Harley had him. Just the way he's being acting makes me thing something is up with him. Sure Talia and Joker died on him, but I'm not so sure its just him grieving. Maybe I'm totally off here.

Overall, I think the DLC was nice. Certainly better than nothing. I'd love more, but if no more means Arkham 3 comes that much sooner, then I'm fine with that. The DLC gave us some nice things for DCD to make figures of now at least. A new Harley, some Harley thugs, and Joker-baby Scarface. Not sure about Harley being a SDCC exclusive though. Not sure DCD has had the time/resources to make her so quickly.

Finished most of the game. The final Riddler room was a letdown. . .

If you mean when you actually confront the riddler I agree, as there wasn't any confrontation or a riddle to solve, just sneak to him. I feel the same as the deadshot confrontation, it was just too easy. But now having completed 100% of the story I can say I'm blown away by the whole game, what an experience. I hope the next game goes into Gotham and they let you drive the Batmobile and the Batwing as missions revolving around those would be killer.
