Shame RS didn't make that Mad Max game, early play reviews on it says it sucks.
The dude voicing Scarecrow is perfect. Glad they've still got a lot under wraps. Hoping to see Al Ghul again and maybe some kind of teaser at the end of this game to see what Rocksteady is gonna do next, Green Arrow . . . Although if they could jump ship to Marvel to make a Daredevil or Spider Man game THAT would make me much happier
Oh no! thats awful news. I was hoping that it was actually good because from what i understand it was developed separate from the movie. Rather than a typical movie game.
Im very curious what Rocksteady does next. Will it be a Justice league member or something entirely different from Batman. Either way im game. Great studio
That's been my biggest question since day 1: will they try to create another original IP á la Urban Chaos:Riot Response, or will they attempt to work their magic on another WB or DC property? It would probably have to be another DC game, because I really can't think of too many WB properties that would make good games that haven't been, or aren't in the process of being done, before. LotR, Mad Max; I really can't think of too much else.
They have an extensive library of films, but I have trouble thinking of what would translate well to gaming. I don't want to see "A Rocksteady Studios Production: The Wizard of Oz: The Video Game." I'd like to see WB try again with that Dirty Harry game from a couple of years back, now that we're seeing stuff like Max make a comeback, but, as far as RS goes, I'd like to see them take a swing at Superman and see if they can't give people a great game. They seem to know that it would take an entirely different approach, but I'm curious if they could do it.
You have one, its called GTA.
I want a first-person Green Lantern game designed with VR headsets in mind. You're in space, and you're just surrounded by stars. You look down at your feet. Green boots and nothing but more stars. You look to your left and see Kilowog battling it out with a member of the Sinestro corps., you look ahead and one of them is rushing right at you with an axe construct. You raise your hand and say "shield," into a headset (in reality), and, in the game, you see the ring render the construct in real-time, just in time for the axe to come clanging down on it.
I think it'd be awesome to be able to fly through Oa and interact with all sorts of Green Lanterns. Like the Ghostbusters game, you are the new recruit. Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Kyle Rayner; you interact with those guys, but you don't play as any of them. You design your character, and templates for character creation are assigned by "Sector," so, if you're from 2814, you'll probably be a human, but you can also be one of the more "alien" GLs, if you choose such a template.
Just imagine GTA5 with Splinter Cell game play mechanics.
Sounds awesome, raise your real arm to use your ring in the game.
I just want another Hulk Ultimate Destruction game.
Hell, you could even have "default" movement-based constructs, where you don't need to specify into a mic what you want. If you punch, it automatically constructs a giant fist, and your enemy goes flying. Could you imagine the zero gravity of space? They just go tumbling out of control, and so do you? If you get hit, you just start spiraling; around and around and around, until you're able to get your ring to stop it.
I just got to thinking about it, and what if DLC came in the form of new sectors and planets to explore? Hell, you could treat it like Warcraft or something, where, rather than sequels, they just continue to expand on it so that you just have a whole universe to explore.
Just as a heads-up for anyone who's interested: GMG has the Standard and Premium Editions of Arkham Knight (PC) for 40% off and 46% off, respectively. Use the coupon code: BATMAN-ARKHAM-SAVE40

The only caveat being, it's for a digital download. That means you won't get any physical goodies, like you would for the console releases.
