I had a glitch occur where the power winch wouldn't pull down the building/ramp at the movie studio. It was right after you use Battlemode to maneuver those tight spaces, and the line would launch, but, no matter how much the car tugged, that wall would not come down.

I started playing before the update finished, and I figured that would do the trick, but to no avail. I tried to delete my game data, but, still being new to all this, I also deleted the 3 gig update, so, now, I'm watching Terminator, hoping to wake up to a fixed game, and also, simultaneously, fighting back tears.:lol

I think that's the part where you drive the batmobile right off the building and up the next building while using the rope to pull it up. Took me a bit to realize it

Haha!! Well it sounds like the same situation I was in, hopefully that helps. Go Adam west style and climb that building!!

No, the reason I want to kill myself is because I thought it was a glitch, that I assumed the patch would fix, so, when the patch finished downloading and I still couldn't get it to work, I assumed something was corrupted and tried to delete the game data. In the process, I also deleted the patch, so, I now have to wait for it to redownload.:lol

I have to say, I'm only about 25% total completion, I can't remember what I am in main story, but I honestly haven't had this much fun just zooming around a city aimlessly in a while. Once you get the batmobile controls mostly down, it's almost like need for speed meets twisted metal, plus you can just jump out a beat the snot out of some thugs. And

Once the Joker persona starts showing up, the comments are hilarious and I love that they pulled the Killing Joke out, poor Bruce. Tortured by his own mind.

I just started about 40 minutes ago, if that...the batmobile is INFURIATING to learn! I'm sure like all games, as you said, that when you do learn it it'll be nice...but seriously, **** these starting out challenges and how long it takes to load after you explode.

I'm trying to get four stacks of that missile system and I just keep getting pounded around. I'm sure I'll get it, but holy hell is this frustrating.

The best part of the Arkham games is fighting and destroying groups of thugs and feeling like Batman. I've never felt LESS like Batman until I got behind the wheel of the Batmobile. So frustrating!

You play batmobile fights like Ali, stick and move, thats the best advice I can give you.

Yeah, thanks, I'll go that route more...I know it'll be a good feeling when I get it down. And I also know that you'll build up armor and such I'm sure and it'll be a lot harder to kill later...but holy crap! :lol

I've also never been a huge fan of the type of chase fights where you're just slamming into everything. I just wish the controls were a bit tighter off the start. But I'm sure I'll get it. It's the newness of it that's probably throwing me.

One thing I did notice that I don't like is the lack of the feeling that your punches are connecting this time around!! It's so odd, but Batman is just flying all over against enemies, but it's missing that controller shake when each punch connects. Just feels a little too smooth.

The city looks great though, and I've literally just started. I've done nothing outside of get Ivy and start this challenge. I just needed to vent. :lol

Doing what you're doing is why these games are so fun! I'm just hoping this one doesn't have a timer like Arkham City had (where the game kind of forced you into the ending at a point) as I like to go at my own pace and just do whatever!

Just keep using the thrusters to dodge all the red lines

Yeah, I'll probably have to just keep moving more. I hate the invisible walls they put up for the challenge though, as you need to awkwardly turn around while they're just blowing you away.

I'm sure it's just the learning curve. I just want to feel like Batman!

:lol

Alrighty, I just quit that first challenge. I need to learn the Batmobile more first, I guess. WAY too frustrating. I just logged for the night...I think it's been too long a day and my brain just can't focus enough to deal with that challenge right now. :lol 1% story completion. So amazing! :p

What a game!

when batman was in ace chemicals defusing the bomb, I was like holy hell! Is he gonna die? Is it going to be metal gear solid 2 all over again? Do I have to play the rest of the game as Damien Wayne!? Goddamit! But then he wakes up and the joker is there. Amazing. He just keeps showing up! He might be dead but I'm thinking, this game is still all about the joker and How much affect he has had on Bruce. I mean, the killing joke flash back, and if the arkham knight really is jason Todd. Have scarecrow take up the mantle of the main villain all you want. It's all about the joker and how he's affected batman.

I almost **** my pants when
The man bat creature appears after you grapnel up a building
:lol

I'd add
Joker's first appearance and Batman creeping when you play as Gordon
both those made me jump a bit.:lol
