It came right from a WB rep...
If you ask me, it sounds like you killed your experience by knowing all the spoilers, if you already know the story you're basically only playing the same old Arkham fighting game you already played at least 3 times before.
Yeah ...I know it takes years to develop games but even if they had this ending planned:Just finished playing the game. It was hard to play this after watching my son beat the game and knowing all the stuff that was going to happen ahead of time. Just couldn't get into this game. Glad to be done with it. It's easily my least favorite of all the Arkham games (including Origins) and I was disappointed with the ending. For me personally, this was a lame way to end this franchise. I was expecting more. Too much maybe?

No, I started the game before my son did. The overbearing focus on the batmobile turned me off right away. As far as the story goes, it was hit and miss with me. I actually like the boss fights of the previous Arkham games. Not enough of it in Knight as far as I'm concerned. The ending in particular just really left me disappointed. I expected more for the finale. It wasn't horrible but I think it could have been better. That's just my opinion.
The Dark Knight Rises ending > Arkham Knight ending
It’s not even close.
That's the problem. I really didn't like TDKR. IMO, Nolan blew the end of that trilogy. Both of them ended on a bad note for me.
I loved TDKR ending, Batman basically achieves what he was trying to do since Batman Begins. That ending didn’t come out of nowhere, but Arkham Knight’s ending didn’t work for me because while the answers are there, if felt like RS purposely left so much out of IT to make it to make it look smarter than it actually was and keep people talking.
We can agree to disagree
While I didn’t like the actual ending to the game, I loved how RS closed out Joker’s story, and his relationship with Batman.
