I feel like that would be the ultimate insult; to have the car, but not a TDK or Begins skin, especially when that Beyond skin has so many components that almost seem lifted straight from the TDK suit.

They've got to give us a TDK suit. It would almost make up for not getting an official TDK game released.

You know, all those extra story missions that are coming with rogue gallery villains invading the city? Hopefully they're tailored to let you use the DLC Batmobiles in them. Just driving around the city in free roam pursuing and destroying random thug cars has got to get boring fast.

Interesting that they had Danny Elfman in the credits but no mention of Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard. No matter to me, if the Tumbler DLC doesn't include their stuff, I'm just gonna have to blast Molossus and Like a Dog Chasing Cars while I play.:rock2

Sure it's cool to get more skins,a 1989 pack and now the Tumbler, but i wish they would add a 1989 Map you could explore. The Race tracks are just a huge waste and therefore the 1989 pack is nothing special imo.If you are currently on your first playthrough, then yeah sure you would get more pleasure of it than the rest of us who has finished the game.

So I've just discovered you can't use any other Batmobile in the 89 race tracks. That's quite annoying.

My Hot Toys Arkham Batman sheds tears of joy. Until he noticed I saw him and he punched me.

You know what I would've liked as an ending? The evacuation's been lifted, the city's been saved, and a bunch of the goons that were in Gotham are celebrating in a rundown hole in the wall. They're drinking and laughing and playing pool and fighting, and there are a few guys at the bar talking. One guy says "Jesus, Bruce Wayne is Batman, and Batman's dead; it's been a hell of a night. I can't believe you missed it, Matches," and there he is, in all his mustachioed glory, he sets his toothpick on the bar and takes a shot "I told you, I'm too old for this ****."

I'll just leave this here:

That would have been sweet, and left the door open for another game. Well, kinda -- I still don't like the exposing and then total destruction of the Bruce Wayne identity or the half-assed reasoning behind it that "it's the only way to save them". No dude, revealing your identity was the only way to paint a target on their backs for the rest of their lives.

Yeah, I've tried a couple of times now to use the Arkham Knight Batmobiles in the 89 racetracks, but it just reverts to the 89'mobile.
Ah right I see what you mean. I guess only the main AK Batmobiles aren't available on the DLC tracks, but maybe all the DLC Batmobiles can be used on any DLC track?

Now that I've had a chance to give the 89 Batmobile a spin and take a closer look at the model -- I really don't like it. The shape is way off. The vents around the rear wheels are too boxy, the sidewalls of the rear tires are too thin. (I did like the little touch Rocksteady added in the text on tires though :)). The canopy windows are too big and slanted. The interior seats and steering wheel and dash are all wrong -- but I admit that's being very nitpicky, since you only ever see a glimpse of them for a second while jumping in and out. When looked at from overhead, it's got Happy Meal Toy Batmobile exaggerated proportions. Most of that can be overlooked while playing, but then of course there's the unavoidable amber taillights. Overall, Hot Toys actually got much closer with their version.

The tracks are pretty interesting nods to the film, but I'm not sure I like the breaking the fourth wall implication that it's all just "fake" movie sets -- with "real" death traps! I also wish there was a way to drive through them with the timer turned off, so you can really take your time and notice all the little details from the films that they jammed in there.

I don't know how they could do it, but I'm really hoping we get an actual Barris Batmobile. The more I think about it, all they would really need to do is remove the "cockpit opening/closing" animation. Have Batman jump right into the front seat. Apparently, they aren't done with the '66 skins. Did you guys see the leaked Ward Robin and Julie Newmar skins? So, maybe, there's hope.

They did a fine job on the Keaton skin, but I noticed in photo mode that if you get close to the vents in front of the back wheels... you can see into the hollow car.

Where are these leaks you speak of?
