I'm still holding out hope that we'll get the Zero Year suit designed by Greg Capullo. Easily one of my favorite comic book designs for Batman.

This is bittersweet for me.
Batman begins is my all time favorite suit, and tdk is my least favorite suit.
Ungh....

I know... I was hoping for Begins or both but nope...

I like the Begins suit more but if I had to pick which one I wanted for the game it's TDK suit, it's more iconic, recognizable, and is the primary suit in arguably the best superhero movie of all time.

I'm sorry for those who won't get the Begins suit, but I'm glad for the TDK one. It would have been sweet to get both but I understand if they wanted to go with ONE look for each era of live action Batman. (After all there was no Returns suit) I agree, to me, the TDK suit is "main" Bale suit, even if it wasn't his first suit.

Switching gears a bit - is anyone tackling the DLC Batmobile races? I 3-starred on all of the single lap races for the Tumbler and 89, but the 3-lap Joker's Parade is really tough for me. It seems like you've got to be practically flawless to beat the 3:55 time in the 89 (haven't tried in any other Batmobiles yet).

Ive decided to trade this in tomorrow. Ive completed the game twice upto the point of needing all the riddler trophies, it has the best free flow of the franchise but I just cant put my finger on it. The story was predictable and boring, Gotham was really boring. I thought we would have all of gotham but we really have bland islands that were really unmemorable. There was no architecture which made you go 'wow'. They make a quarter of Gotham up Considering you see Arkham City and Arkham Asylum in the distance It was very disappointing. The DLC sucks massively. Arkham City I put custom soundtracks on my PS3; selection of Zimmer and BTAS tracks in the background, BTAS or Year One suit and AC was perfect. AK its behind a paywall. I was dying for the Batmobile but in the end I hated it. I hated the tank fighting. A few times wouldve been great, but I want to zoom to crime scenes, work things out in the Batmobile linked to the Batcomputer.

The most prevelant childhood memories of Batman is him using the BTAS Batmobile talking to alfred, both using the batcomputer to figure something out and of Batman Returns; THAT scene. The batmobile jet engine slowly roaring to a stop. Watching Penguin. Patrolling Gotham. Snow crunching under the tyres. The haunting soundtrack. Talking to Alfred about something not being right with that Penguin character. The piercing eyes Keaton gives out the corner of the Cowl.

AK failed to capture any of that. It failed with the Batmobile massively.

I dare say I much prefered Origins to this game. Hamill again saves the day; he was the best part of the game

Beat the Nightwing GCPD Lockdown DLC last night after work. It was pretty short (like all of them) but I liked the cocky attitude Nightwing had, especially when he was teasing Penguin. It's a little odd to me that
he doesn't seem to have the slightest bit of emotion over the apparent "death" of Batman. Maybe he and Lucius both know it wasn't real?

Not sure I needed spoilers for that at this point, but decided to be safe just in case ;)

Was the Nightwing DLC written/developed by Rocksteady? Was there no difference to the other Story DLC that WB Montreal has developed?

Not sure what you mean by "no difference"? It's a different character and a different location than the other DLC. It's that "same" in that it's pretty short, but that's about it.

Just watched the GCPD DLC on YouTube, very disappointing. It added absolutely nothing to the story.

I was looking forward to the advanced combat maps but the purple wall aesthetic makes every map have the same feel, and especially on the Batman and Robin one - the arena is poorly lit, I find it hard to pick out the enemies with weapons and shields.

Just tried the Tumbler because ive been looking forward to that one. It's really cool with the amount of details they've put into it like the rest of them, but like i said before.Once you're done with the game,it is only so much you care to free roam unless you care about those pointless Race tracks.Would be so much better if they added these Batmobiles and costumes on your first playthrough.Makes the experiecne that much better. So far,the only good thing ive gotten from the season Pass is the Batgirl DLC.Acceptable length to it while Harley and Red Hood was over in 10 minutes.

Looks like October's going to feature a severe overhaul of challenge maps. The aforementioned character selection, the return of 4 round challenge maps, and the removal of the blue, holographic walls.

I finally traded this in. I havevmy batarang proudly displayed, my kotobukiya AC statue and the awesome Joker/Batman origins statue on display. Never once thought about trading those 3 games in. Ive never thought twice about getting rid of AK.

Biggest disappointment of the year. Gutted that it was such a poor experience.

I agree with you for the most part. It was disappointing. It's easily my least favorite Arkham game by far. That includes Origins. I'm glad I played it and I did enjoy certain parts of the game but it wasn't nearly as much fun as the other games.
