Asylum and City are almost pretty different. Asylum feels like Metroidvania with progression and collecting the Riddler trophies, and is honestly the only game that got it right with Riddler. City is an open world game with a decent bit to do, and feels alive despite being a prison, and the faster pace is great, especially for the magnifique combat. Though I actually still like Asylum's slower pace at times.

I loved how gothic and bleak Asylum felt. But personally, I think AC is the best of the series still.

City was certainly the better game than Asylum, by leaps and bounds.

Asylum's ending ruined it for me. Making Titan Joker an incredibly basic and generic boss fight I felt undone the brilliant work.

I find it nearly unplayable now though purely because AC's combat was such a huge improvement.

AA's combat can be hard to go back to, it's so much slower. But I think it works, still, and you can appreciate the nuances. Titan Joker was awful, that could have been something really memorable. All I like is the final cutscene where Batman punches Titan Joker with gel on his fist, it just seems so satisfying and defines those two to me. The way Conroy just delivers those last two lines...

AC, although a superior game in regards to gameplay, lacked the special feeling that AA had. AC was all over the place in terms of story and it wasn't cohesive enough. AA had the story, the atmosphere, although I will agree that Titan Joker was bad.

Best atmosphere: Asylum
Best gameplay: City
Best visuals: Knight
Best story: Origins

I guess there's something in every game. :lol

Concur with the list aswell. I think AC's story wasnt all over the place. It felt abit like Long Halloween in that various smaller stories occured during a much larger story.

if Anyone want's Batman Arkham CITY for Steam let me know i got a code for you to redeem

Can't guarentee that it'll work since this is a GFWL code..

Not sure if any of this is new information, but it popped on my Facebook feed, and I didn't see it here ...

Coming in November we have the awesome Batsuit AND Batmobile from the highly anticipated movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This will be available to everyone, with Season Pass owners getting exclusive early access.

Additionally, in response to the requests from the community, we’ve worked with our friends at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics to bring the 2008 Movie Batman Skin to players in the December pack.

Finally, also in December, we’ll take you back to 2009 with the Original Arkham Batmobile, which will be available to drive on race tracks and conditional free-roam around Gotham City just like the other downloadable Batmobiles.

AR Challenges are one of the most popular features in the community, and we’ve been working to make our game better by implementing player feedback wherever possible. Thanks to fans telling us what they want, we’ve added Character Selection for AR Challenges. We’ve added support for this in combat challenges in October, and we are working on this for Invisible Predator maps ready for November. We’ve also heard you ask for round-based AR combat Challenges and these will be added into the mix from October onwards, along with the ability to select Hard difficulty to remove counter icons and get bigger score bonuses. We’ve heard you wanted more interior locations, so these have been added and will continue to be used in upcoming maps. Finally, some players found the blue walls around AR Challenges to be a little distracting, and if you’ve got the latest patch you’ll see we’ve significantly reduced this effect to increase the immersion.

There are two more Arkham Episodes coming in November. Catwoman’s Revenge puts players in control of Catwoman as she sets out to infiltrate the Riddler’s HQ as the final humiliation in their encounter. A Flip of a Coin, sees Robin dealing with the aftermath of Batman’s disappearance and hunting down Two-Face. The three post-launch Arkham Episodes are all roughly the same duration and are intended to be short, narrative vignettes that give a sense of what has happened to each of these characters after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. We’re also converting these environments into new challenge maps to give more replay value to these packs.

In December, the Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion will appear in your Gotham City, with each one approximately the similar length as the Most Wanted missions in the main game. Mad Hatter is playing a sinister mind-game with Batman, and GCPD’s finest are the pawns. Killer Croc has escaped from his maximum security cell and is wreaking havoc on a crashed airship. The League of Assassins has returned to Gotham City, but what is their motive and who is in charge? And Mister Freeze may be closer than ever to completing his life’s work… but at what cost?

Thanks for reading right to the end! It’s a relief to finally be able to take the lid off what we’ve got coming up on Batman: Arkham Knight for the rest of 2015, and it’s great to have this awesome community along for the ride. Thanks for letting us know what you think. This game wouldn’t be the same without you.

*** NEWS *** Full Season Pass Content Revealed - WB Games Community

I concur with Plissken. Im glad I didnt buy the pass, I dont even regret selling my copy. The replay value is rock bottom. Finished it twice and I cant be arsed to play Twisted Metal for a 3rd time. Just a season pass of skins and rubbish race tracks.

Bet season of infamy is a good 15 minutes though.

The BvS stuff looks cool, but I agree that the rest seems a little "meh." The Season of Infamy stuff is kind of intriguing but I feel like they could've padded it out a little more. I can understand why they didn't do TAS skins, even though I would've liked to see them, as they kind of require the "full character model" treatment that they got in Arkham City, and it could've, potentially, seemed kind of off, if they were the animated suits with the AK models beneath. By that same logic, I wouldn't want the TAS Batmobile unless we got the TAS skins to go with them.

That being said, there were still some skins I'd like to have seen like original '80s Nightwing, Grayson Agent of Spyral, and, since we now have character select, new skins like '66 Batgirl, Classic Batgirl, New 52 Batgirl, Classic Harley, New 52 Harley, Suicide Squad Harley, and, maybe, Morrison's Red Hood with the cape, Under the Hood Red Hood, and, maybe, an Arkham Knight skin. One that I would like to have seen that I'm really surprised we didn't is Unmasked Batman. We got the character model, and it would make sense in the context of the ending, especially with all their taunts about you being "Bruce Wayne."

**** that, look a that Batfleck suit, it's probably the single best looking batsuit in the entire game.

But yeah, the season pass is just not worth it.

It is a fantastic skin, but I'm not sure what you're talking about with the "**** that," Gaspar. I'm not saying I'd rather have other stuff instead, just that I'd rather have more on top of that.:lol

I meant **** that in agreement to simsim90's post about the cheapness of the season pass, but you posted before I did.

Plissken walking out is not a denial of the Batfleck suit being the very best. Sorry Keaton. Batfleck fits the AK model better, if there was a manlet model then the Keaton skin would be better.

I don't know -- I really think it is impossible to come up with a season pass that everyone would have been totally happy with. I think a lot of the people who are saying it's not worth it were expecting a single huge chunk of add-on content that is about 2/3 the size of the full retail game to "justify" the $40 cost of the pass.

But when I look at that above list, I have to admit, damn -- that is A LOT of DLC. Sure, maybe it is not all everyone's cup of tea, and not everyone will get what they want, but there is plenty there to appeal to most fans of most versions of Batman. Almost every live action era /franchise of Batman is represented, almost all of the most well-known movie Batmobiles. So many alternate Batman skins. Nods to the games that came before. So many other characters (playable only in the challenges, yes, but at least they're there). On top of that, there has been a genuine responsiveness from RockSteady to make unplanned changes to try to give the fans what they want -- even while faced with the challenge of fixing the botched PC release at the same time. They modded the challenges to make them closer to what the experience was in the previous games by reducing the blue walls and adding character-select. They saw the demand for a Nolan Batsuit and they're filling it (though, I kinda suspect this one was always in the cards).

Yes, the PC launch was completely screwed up, and the DLC out of the gate -- when viewed individually, isn't much to write home about. I can see why there's disappointment with this game not being the "ultimate" end-all Batman game experience in some's eyes -- I see complaints of lack of replay value and I'm impressed that people have played enough that that's an issue. It's gonna take me a really long time to get through playing all of this stuff just once.

I just want to express what I feel has become the dissenting opinion here: to me, cumulatively, RockSteady did an amazing job with this game, the breath of the DLC that has been released so far (and is scheduled to be released) and of course, with this entire series when viewed altogether. This game, and all of this content is a work of art. Well done, RockSteady. Well done.

As much as I have been bitchin' and whining about this game, I have to say...
It's won a HUGE brownie points with that Batfleck suit.
