Media Batman: Arkham Knight

Good god, now that Batman's got an armored suit, how cool would it be if we finally got to go toe to toe with ol' Waylon Jones, himself, in his big, green, monstrous form. I'm just as excited to see what all villains they use, and what they look like rendered on these consoles, as I am about the whole storyline with the Arkham Knight and so forth.

The Collector's Editions have all had something cool, Arkham City upping it with a Kotobukiya statue. I have to admit, I still scour the internet to find that Batarang and statue...Origins was kind of overpriced though, cool as the statue was.

That said, Arkham Knight will probably have something of a statue, a batmobile being likely; possibly Batman in it as well.

So, I get the idea AK might be very dividing concerning batman's suit and n essentially. Not as the defining batman, but just as a high stakes, war-version.

What's the consensus here? I know some loathe it...

Seeing that gameplay video of driving in the batmobile through the streets of gotham was ****ing unreal. I tripped out completely. So unbelievably awesome. And WITH Conroy, I am so ****ing psyched for this game.

The armored look doesn't bother me at all. I like the cloth suit, but this suit seems to fit with the overall tone they are going for.

I like the idea of an war armored or exosuit Batman, I just think this particular design is uninspired and over designed for the sake of it.

Anyway, the batmobile segments look mindblowing, I love how it goes through street stuff like it's a hot knife through butter, I wonder if the city will "regenerate", given how easily you can destroy stuff.

Honestly, while I'm in the camp that likes the suit, if I had to choose, I'd prefer a more detailed, rendered for Current Gen (I need to stop saying "Next Gen;" it's here already.) updated version of his AA/AC suit. I think this could be cool, if it's actually utilized, in game, though. Imagine it being animated and shifting around during combat and so forth. I actually wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. If it is, I'm pretty sure this is just Rocksteady's way of showing off their new hardware.

I am surprised just how different it is from aa and ac, I will say that.

But I do genuinely like it. it 'means business' so to speak. I think the armour pieces are pretty smart insofar as it's a smart way to have heavy plated armour yet remain flexible in it. They're trying to kill him like never before, it's genuinely war now it seems. I don't blame him for wanting more cowl armour.
