So let's summarize:

1) stupid desings
2) stupid plot
3) no Conroy as Batman
4) no Hamill as Joker

SOUND LIKE FUN!

Take this as you will, but the friend of mine who first told me about Conroy voicing Batman in another Arkham game went back the next day to get his autograph, and, when he did, he asked about Conroy's earlier comments about the next Arkham game. Conroy said that he had no ties to Origins and that the game to which he was referring hadn't been revealed, yet. It's all right here, so you can see for yourselves:

Listening to the video of Conroy at the conference, he clearly says, "I can talk about it now, we've been working for about 9-10 months on the next Arkham." So your post now leans it towards the fact that he is talking about the next Arkham game but who really knows at this point.

So it's down too
1) He'll be doing the voice of the older batman
2) He's going to be doing the narrative reflecting upon his younger years
3) He's talking about the next Arkham game.

That's oxymoronic, don't ask me anything from now on :lol
Your post was stupid anyway since it was clear that I love Rocksteady Arkham games.

Well think of it this way atleast he will be in the Rocksteady Batman games... I'm willing to give this new Batman voice a chance and so should all the other fans... Kevin Conroy isn't gonna be Batman forever... But atleast we know he's in Arkham 3.

I feel confused... but God help me if Rocksteady are making another Arkham game and Kevin is involved, I'll party so flipping hard.

Kevin is NOT Batman guys. It's just been confirmed. Looks like Kevin might indeed be the narrative.

What if Arkham Origins is a set-up for the NEXT big Batman/Superhero game that Rocksteady is somewhat rumored to be working on?

Think about it. The game opens up with the older Batman, reminiscing about his younger days and needing to solve a mystery in the PRESENT while thinking about details from his past. You start the game as Old Batman, looking for something before he gets back to the Batcave and starts flashing back.

We go to young Batman, you play the game through and then come to the end and it returns you to old Batman who finally clears up the mystery and sets up for the upcoming Batman/Arkham 3 sequel...with more superheroes.

How the hell am I supposed that? What you posted was negative toward the game.:lol

Could be a plot device, that they are desperately trying to keep under wraps. Maybe the Batman you play to start with turns out to not actually be the real Batman. Or maybe he's just bookending the game, with the other guy doing the majority of the game as a younger Batman. Or maybe an Arkham sequel or that talked about Justice League spin off is one of the launch titles for Microsoft's new console, and Conroy had his wires crossed. Who really knows at this point. There's definitely something squirrelly going on though... :lol

Never known Conroy to say he was attached to something when he wasn't, he's usually very forthright about when WB chooses to use him and when they don't. I guess time will tell.

EDIT - this whole situation isn't getting any less crazy, is it? :lol

It's actually pretty easy to figure out. WB wants a new Arkham game sooner rather than later, so they've farmed one out to a new internal team in Montreal that takes place in a prequel timeframe that won't interfere with whatever Rocksteady is already working on.

You won't hear much about the Rocksteady one officially until after this one is out, because... hype & $$. They're focusing on Origins and know a Rocksteady announcement would completely overshadow it and likely cut into sales.
