Troy Baker surprised the hell out of me... he actually sounds like a decent Joker, that's actually hard for me to admit.

Batman on the other hand sucks, he doesn't sound anything like Conroy.

I agree, but then again everyone knows that Conroy has set the bar way too high. I think Diedrich Bader would have been a better choice for Origins though, as he can be both calm and intimidating.

Oh well, at least we didn't got Benjamin McKenzie or another Bale wannabe. :hi5:

Yes! hahaha.

and Snake Plissken... for more Kevin Conroy Batman and Mark Hamill Joker goodness... we'll have to wait for the next gen sequel. :hi5:

That's what I'm betting on :clap

Conroy had already accidentally leaked that. So we're all set for a next gen sequel.

Poor Conroy though, he's not a nerd or into it like most of us. In trying to please us, he got into trouble like 3 time now with WB. First was the Bale comment, then the Flashpoint movie, now Arkham 3. Give the guy a break, WB!

I agree wholeheartedly with the Conroy sentiment. However, I disagree with the stance on Origins. I think it looks awesome. That being said, I think we'll see Arkham 3 next year. I know it seems soon, but I genuinely believe we will. It's just too perfect not to come out then, as it literally fits right in:
1.)the Next Gen consoles will have launched already.
2.)It's Batman's 75th anniversary.
They've got to have something big planned for that, and I doubt we'll be seeing a Batman movie next year.:lol

No Conroy or Hamill? I think I will wash my hands of this.

Eh. Conroy and Hamill are great ... but they're not going to do this forever. I'm at the point where I'm fine with somebody else, and pleasantly surprised if they decide to give-it-a-go.

For videogames ... voice actors are a far lesser concern than gameplay, story and graphics.

Looks okay. Pretty much a carbon copy of Arkham City( Which isn't necessarily a bad thing) The city looks pretty bland though.

Yeah, playing Arkham City for over 100 hours and getting the Platinum Trophy I can tell right away a lot of the animation was ripped straight out of Arkham City.

My only gripes are that the demo didn't show how smoothly defeat that new armored thug and the city kinda looks bland.

That being said, it still looks awesome and too bad they stopped the video at the worst moment possible! :gah:

Catwoman's hand (claw)!?!?!?! :panic:

For that amount of cash and such a well defined side profile of the Bat you'd think that the criminals might ID'ed him by now. :lol This contradicts the Arkham City Prequel book that clearly shows the only public images of Batman availible were blurry shots.

Prequel books etc are not cannon and further more, that aspect is already really stupid. Why would the only public images of him be blurry when he is working hand in hand with authorities in AA which takes place b4 city. They had cameras everywhere in the asylum and he walks right upto Sharp and a ton of guards and escorts Joker to his cell, he works openly in that universe with Gordon walking around in public and right in front of other cops who don't attempt to arrest him. Seems like anyone who worked there and wanted could have easily taken a picture.

Nice Arkham City DLC. Will play for-free :yess:

Well, we were all clammoring for more DLC to take place in AC and that's pretty much exactly what this is so having said that and considering it's a differant dev, I'm content it looks so similar. But I'd also agree that full price for something like this is silly. I hope it's no more than $30-40 even though that seems unlikely. They are recylcing the engine, half the environment, the combat system, I can't imagine they put half as much work as RS did into AC.

The one thing I didn't like about the gameplay was the inclusion of the Grapnel boost, as it is contradictory. They made it pretty clear in AC that it was an experimental gadget that had not been used before, and yet, there it is. A time-traveling Grapnel boost; amazing.
