With all the negative things people have been saying about this game, I highly doubt that it will be game of the year. And I'm pretty sure this isn't moving to next gen consoles as the upcoming Arkham game by rocksteady is already going to be next gen

You're right, I misspoke. I meant when they eventually release a copy of the game with all the DLC and add-on's included. But even then, there's no guarantee that version would play perfectly.

Do people really not like this game? I had some problems with it and its certainly glitchy but I loved the story and thought Batman was depicted better than he is in the other two

I WAS really enjoying the game on my first playthrough. I loved the story and experienced no gameplay problems, short of a few cut scene hiccups.

On NG+, I've had dark knight system rewards not recognized, game over screens after successfully beating a boss and watching a cut scene, and the game did not recognize me beating a side mission boss. My game is now in limbo, I'm unable to get 100% completion because of it, and that's bull.

It always seemed game companies were always very lenient as to what was needed for a GOTY. kewlBatMangamez.web rated it "Best Batman Game of 2013"? - good enough for a GOTY edition!

Despite its many, many flaws, I really like the game. My biggest issues are the freezing, and the combat system feeling off. I'm not one of those psychos who scored 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 on every combat challenge. But I can now ace every combat challenge with ease, feeling I've truly mastered the AA and AC combat system.

But with Origins, many things have felt off. Counters, mostly. Some annoyances were built in, like those martial arts ********s, but other things besides counters just feels very off in Origins.

I dunno what the problems you guys are encountering but my PC version plays perfect. Also having mastered AA/AC Free Flow it feels even easier on this. On AO I am acing free flow combat... the max hits I take are at the most 2 punches... love how Bats counters 2 and sometimes 3 guys...

I think one of your awesome custom capes might have caused that.

My Millennium Skins pack didn't download for some reason. I bought the Season Pass so I have no idea what's going on. I don't want to purchase it through the PSN but I'm not really sure what else to do. So far that's the only issue I've had with the game.

Just can't wait till its over tbh and I can sell it on. A broken glitchy game like this should not be released in 2013.

when you climb up to confront Firefly, you can only walk around. None of the goons attack you, you can't attack them. It's just a weird networking event atmosphere.

I hate the Shiva missions. They start out cool with a baby cartridge rolling in front of you but then she tries to kick Batman, he blocks in so they resume conversation like nothing happened and become a bunch of talking heads... stupid and lazy

I had a question about the challenges. Did I screw up by completing the game without doing them? I'm on one now where I have to complete a Predator encounter using 4 different styles of takedown. Problem is all the building that have those rooms are dead empty now.

Happened to just about everyone, you have to go through New Game + to complete them. Awesome game design!

For Worst Nightmare rank 6 (the four unique takedowns), I noticed a lot of guides suggesting the bank.

If you're like me, and already passed there without realizing you had to do this nonsense in order, but don't feel like waiting for NG+, I was able to get this in Blackgate fairly easily. The only trouble I had was the game never wanting to recognize when a hanging ledge takedown could be used.
