I hope the head sculpt looks better once we see more pics. That turned head is kind of ridiculous though, c'mon Sideshow.

Hmmm...

Hmmm...

I don't know about this one. The base rocks. His cowl seems off.

I just got an awesome Batman PF. I don't need another one so soon. Besides, this will look small compared to the comic PF, mainly because Keaton's only 6 feet tall. The Comic PF is beefy and 25 inches.

Supposedly this will stand at 26 inches

Hey now..I already said I'm down for this piece and it will be an instant PO if the price is right. but I really don't like the head turn...some ppl don't care, I get that. but it's a nit that's bothersome to me, what's wrong with that :dunno but then again...my opinion is usually of the less favorable anyway so it's no surprise really I guess :lol

Hmmmmmmm......... that head turn.
I don't think so.

Why the **** is his head turned!

His left hand is twisted slightly to hold his cape, and his right leg is bent at the knee... Batman would never do that... C'mon Sideshow!!!

Not ordering because of the above issues...

This reminds of the Big Chap Alien maquette. SS did a great big and nice Alien maquette that was just a hair or so smaller than the Cinemaquette one and it had a great paint job. But SS blew it with the pose. They did their own thing and ended up sticking the Alien in a pose that was just un-Alien. I stuck mine on a shelf and rarely looked at it because of that pose. And eventually I sold it. Now their Keaton Batman is revealed and it just doesn't pass the muster because of the turned head/cowl. I guess I should go back and watch the film but even with that publicity photo on this page, I just don't recall Keaton turning his head like that while wearing the cowl in the film. Just my two cents.

lol he didn't turn his head in the film because he was physically unable to due to the cowl.

I actually don't know who is being serious about seeing the neck turn as a genuine problem, and who isn't. If you see it as a problem... really?! It's not a big deal in my opinion. In fact, it's not even a deal in the first place.
