I would recommend seeing both in hand before making a decision. Then sell the other to a boardie.

I'd do it if I didn't take loss on selling the PF. Seems some think they should get some great deal on here at times.

I cancelled the other Bats. And Sideshow was generous enough to refund my NRD. I always wanted Keaton Batman, and only have space for one Batman version. Easy decision for me.

Yeah, no insult to 1/6th fans as I can appreciate the fandom, but the only reason I got the 1/6th Keaton Batman and Nicholson Joker was I never foresaw them making a Keaton Batman PF, especially when the comic PF was announced. Now I will likely sell the 1/6th Batman and Joker as well.

Definitely will cancel other Batman PF for this one in a heartbeat.

Especially if you have the EX I'd keep the first SSC Batman PF till this Keaton one comes out. You can always sell that one later if you decide too. There is no point in loosing your deposit if you don't have too.

I have the current Batman EX PF on order and will VERY likely be ordering the Keaton Batman PF as long as there isn't something that simply doesn't work for me when the full reveal happens.

DC is having some GREAT unexpected PF sneeks so far.

Do you think I'd be able to recoup all my money on the comic Batman PF when there's so many being produced? I just don't want to be shelling out the money and then try selling on here or ebay and taking a loss.

Is your PO for the EX? If it is you will get your money back easy. For the reg you may break even if your patient enough I'd say.

Anyone considering cancelling their Comic Bats PF Pre Order and getting this instead? I'm wondering whether Sideshow will announce their Christopher Reeve PF soon as that will result in me cancelling both my Comic Bats and Supes PF PO's... :lecture

That would be a lot of $'s worth of nrd's you throwing away.

I assume you PO'd the regular, not the exclusive? In the short term, I think there's no way you are going to recoup your costs. You are going to have to charge $400 + shipping to you ($25-30) + 3% through Paypal or 13% through eBay just to break even. That's pushing $450-480 plus shipping to the buyer and I nobody is going to pay you that much until the regular edition sells out from Sideshow. It could sell out any time, but it could also hang around in stock for a year. It's impossible to tell at this point.

Does this mean we'll get a Pfeiffer Catwoman soon??? Different movie though.

Yeah, it's for the EX. I just don't want to hold a bunch of "inventory" and then lose money. I'm not here to gouge either, but I want at least the full price I paid (including shipping) for the comic Batman PF EX.

It's actually the EX. But I agree that due to the ES of the EX and REG combined, it may be hard to recoup money on the REG. I just don't want to keep the order if I can't get my money back on the EX.

If it's the EX I'm sure you'll be able to make your money back and more by the time the Keaton Batman PF comes out. This hobby is all about timing and as you mentioned since there is a higher ES for this statue the immediate demand won't be through the roof like those with a lower ES, but this Keaton PF is just being hinted at and no where near being released so you have time. Sneeks usually lead to a long wait period...heck nowadays an official preorder date leads to a long wait period. Regardless of ES this is Batman we are talking about and anyone who is collecting statues 2 years from now and are into the DC line will be drooling for one of these...but please be nice to those folks if you do sell aat a later date as too many folks tend to take the rape and pillage approach for anyone looking to pick up an older statue.

In short IMO you'll be able to easily make your money back by the time this Keaton Batman comes out because folks who picked one up just to flip will have sold theirs off by then making the availability much less months after it's release and again we are talking about one of the most iconic DC super heros in existance so the demand will be there. Also this way you have a Batman in your collection and don't have to worry later if the Keaton Batman doesn't fit the bill for your preferences.

:exactly: People were so mad there weren't much DC pfs at comic con and now we have this and Lobo.

I sort of doubt that they make a Nicholson Joker for this. DCD, Mattel and NECA won't pull the trigger on the likeness license, so what makes people think Sideshow would?

To date, Hot Toys seems to be the only one that has ponied up the cash. They're making their Jack Jokers exclusively pretty much. I know they're partners (Sideshow and Hot Toys), but do they share paid licensing rights?

The Joker seems unlikely.
