My view on this is if you get the main 3 you might as well go for the other 4. It is a DC Comics fan's dream to have those 7 members of the JLA in this scale.

I wonder if Aquaman or Martian Manhunter will be next. You figure they want to close strong with Wonder Woman or Flash.

I agree that this bust is an easy attention magnet. I saw it months ago at my LCS as well prior to ordering it recently. I went by a few weeks ago and it was already gone.

This is one of those pieces like Andy's Hulk PF that it's easy to point out dislikes based on your preferences: spacing of the eyes, space between the mouth and bottom of the nose, etc. You know what? None of that matters because (as it always happens) people come to realize in a few months that this was it: Batman in 1:1 bust form and all that noise won't matter. It's an Andy B. sculpt of perhaps the most popular character in comics. Once it's in front of you in such an impossing scale all the forum complainers and photoshop jockeys can jump in a lake somewhere. It won't matter.

Then the aftermarket happens (of course). We all know how that all of the sudden erases all doubts that something was good all along. The piece was there, readily available for over a year and some chose to pass on it because of the nitpicking in the forums. Welcome to the world of collecting, right?

very well said! & I have seen it happen for several pieces in my collection. If you like something, buy it, nothing is perfect & no topic here is free of criticism.

Some people won't have the space or money to get all seven so three may have to do. All seven will with shipping will cost around $5,000. I think Aquaman and Martian Manhunter will have the lowest es. If GL es is 350 I can't see those being higher. Those would need to be ordered on day one. I'd be down for a Nightwing and Green Arrow bust.

Green Arrow, Black Canary, Hawkman, Captain Marvel, Atom, Zatanna and Plastic Man would be my supporting league characters. No way I would have the space to support those as well in 1:1 bust form.

You could get the Superman and Wonder Woman bust to have the DC trinity and leave it at that.

I think it will either be just Batman and Superman or the whole deal. Your right the trinity would be great but I think if I got WW it would be hard to not committee to the rest. Space is of course an issue to. Right now the Batman and Superman busts would be most likely staying in there boxes for a couple years till the wife and I get a new house. Might rotate them with there respective PF's on the small shelf space I currently have for displaying these things.

Don't think just buy it if you love it, which is what I did. Look at the Captain America 1:1 ES of 1000 and less than 50 left

Ha this post is from April 2012 almost 2 years ago and the Cap bust is still in stock. Those last 50 are hard to move I guess. On the flip side Batmans sold out.

They lost focus with Marvel across all lines. Some highly requested PFs are nowhere in sight, lifesize busts have long gaps in between releases and their diorama line morphed and then got abandoned.

He was a secondary character at best. I have been reading comics since the early 90s and it was so bad at one point they made him and young kid. Marvel had no clue how to write him.

I gotta agree I really wasn't too familiar w ironman prior to the flicks…yes I'm buying the lsf of the mk vii…but i WISH they wouldn't have lagged like they did with marvel and the PF line (and those imo god-awful red X bases)…how the heck have you not made magneto yet is beyond me...
