Sam Jackson doesn't like your face formula mumbo jumbo.

Sam Jacksons eyes fit the formula, the batman photo does not.

I'm really hoping these are just bad photos, other than the eyes this is the best batman sculpt ever.

his mouth reminds me of wolverines legendary scale, suits batman better still not crazy about its portrait

well you guys are lucky. legendary predator 2 is beautiful but no ES and the price is 2000 buckaroos. same goes for wolverine legendary scale and his expression looks like he's farting a baby

I was just thinking i wished this was cheaper but then again I paid 1k for my vader bust

Jackson might not like it any more than mother____ing snakes on a mother____ing plane, but his mother____ing face still follows mother____ing the face formula mumbo jumbo.

In addition to the "problem" with the eyes, the chin could be made a bit wider too. The chin, when compared to the width of the head at the ears, seems to narrow.

There was a nice picture posted on the Statue Forum site by MoochRex where someone Photoshopped the image and widened the chin and "fixed" the eyes which lead to an even nicer statue.

Here's what was done:

As a massive batman fan, this statue is really really very unimpressive to me. No chance I'd even spend $100 on this

Andy B is one of the most talented sculptors I've ever come across but I'm sorry, whatever anyone says to defend it, to me the facial proportions are much too unnatural

You're not helping. The eye placement looks terrible in both pictures.

Oh wait I see it now - the way his eye fits so snug in the middle and doesn't hang out over the sides and all. My bad.

:thud::cuckoo: Different strokes for different folks

there have been so many variations of batman over the years, this is just another, I love it and looking forward to getting it one day.

Are you trying to be sarcastic?

Everyone face has slightly different proportions, which is why we don't all look exactly the same. Human eye spacing is about the width of the eye itself, exactly as illustrated in your Sam Jackson photo. Sam Jacksons face fits the formula, Batmans does not.

The batman statue appears in the photos to have space enough for two and a half eyes. Taking off that mask would reveal a circus freak.
