I think you could post this in almost any thread, it will never be perfect for everybody. I think it looks great as is. I look forward to getting mine.

I am not saying anything wrong with it. Just saying in hand pic is preferable as casting/reproduction can have defects like paint, etc. I would've bought this already if I have large fund but not atm. I can afford it, yes, but don't want to risk it yet. No big rush.

Yeah, im starting to conclude they really need to be seperate, on their own for full effect.

Tisk, tisk....unlicensed ebay sell. And what's with the gloss. Lots of these ebay custom have horrible paint gloss. I wonder if its the resin or just purposedly painted that way. The gloss makes it look wet. I prefer matt finish anyway as its more realistic.

I can't help being reminded of Harry Dean Stanton every time I look at this particular pic. Must be that righthand cheekbone.

I was in two minds about cancelling this but I just cant not have it in my collection. Just hope he's delayed and delayed and delayed so I can afford him when he does eventually arrive

I like the matte finish more too. Not that it's anymore realistic, but gloss reflects a lot of light and doesn't blend in as well with the shadows as well as matte does.

That said, the gloss finish is closer to what Alex Ross paints.

The eBay custom bust is as good as what we've see from SideShow and neither of them are as nice as the 1:2 DCD bust.
