Batman Life Size Bust Sideshow

I hate to be reporting this guys but I sent my second bust back for replacement

this one didn't have the "sweaty head" problems my first did but it did have a few sloppy paint areas that bugged me more and more considering the price (and potential awesomeness) of this bad boy.

It also had a fit issue (a gap) on the back where the bust meets the base I didn't care for. I hope to have #3 back in my hands by midweek.

I will have a perfect one!!!! I'll keep you guys posted

I think the bigger something is, the more problems SS has. Ask anyone who owns the lifesize droids.

sorry to hear people continue to have issues with these. The good news (I hope) is that the majority are fine.

So, less than a week to Christmas - or the day before the Mayan Apocalypse, depending on your perspective - I run into my LCS and encounter one of my clerk buddies there with a %$#@-eating grin on his face.

"We just got him in an hour ago", he said to me and pointed to a bigass box at the back of the store.

And there he was, in all his glory. #59/1500. Huge. Badass...

...and I'm completely broke at the moment, thanks to the aforementioned Christmas.

At least I got to take him out of the box and get a good lookover for any QC issues.

And he's flawless. Yay me.

But now it's gonna take me a couple of months to free this monstrous bugger from the store.

That wait could kill me.

Crazy thing is I'd already come to the conclusion I probably wouldn't be getting him.

I put my order in really late in the game, well after the initial recall came down. Once I saw people here show off their replacements, and the closer we've been getting to the end of the year, I've been feeling like I was too late.

But here he is.
And the funniest thing is I'll probably just be finished paying him off when the Superman bust starts shipping and then I'll be back in the same boat.

I need a better paying job.
And a bigger house. Especially when it'll come time to display my 'World's Finest' team.

I know a lot of ppl dont collect lsb but, this is so amazing i have it on hold at my lcs and i dont get why its not selling quicker. Anyone who is a fan af Batman should want this. maybe in a corner on a pedestal with a light shining down on it.....i thinki just got goosebumps i cant wait till i pay this off and bring him home.

I just got one yesterday. Probably one of the most amazing pieces I have ever seen. Looks even better in person. My only problem with it is that it dwarfs my other Life Size busts.
