alcoholic bat ??

It looks terrible ...

Thinner neck, white eyes :)

:lol

Ok then.
I always imagined Batman with convex optical lens, all milky like the eyes of a blind man:

But for this new Bats I think no eyes at all looks best.
It works with sculpted face-mask much better. (yeah, I liked it in DD movie)

Some nice manipulations here. Usually, I'm all about increased comic accuracy, but in this case I think the regular eyes look better for live action. Plus, otherwise you know Affleck would be trying that much harder to maximize his scenes with his cowl off so folks would remember that he is playing that role.

I think white eyes could work if done well, I could go either way, perhaps detective vision eyes with a slight glow, like Arkham Asylum.

This looks pretty good.
It doesn't. And that's not a fact, it's an opinion.
:exactly: :goodpost:
Sorry Gaspar.. fact fail.

My mistake, I went too far, sorry, I stand corrected...... missed one zero there.... 1000x it is! There, now it's a 100% accurate indisputable hard fact.

Yeah...

The weariness and cynicism in his eyes there actually scream "Punisher" to me more than "Batman." I think Lundgren Punisher actually captured that aspect of the character pretty well. He's driven purely by duty and not some small measure of mental instability. He is resigned to the fact that he's going to see the worst the world has to offer. But in a universe where Superman movies are sad and depressing affairs, you've got to expect Batman to be Punisher-level gritty.

It is appropriate for a Frank Miller Dark Knight Returns Bats, though.

I think the costume looks great. I like being able to see his eyes. I think it's a better look than the white lenses. My only quibble is I don't like Miller's fat bat logo. I was hoping for something a little more streamlined like the logo on the Arkham Asylum costume. Other than that, I like what I've seen so far.

That's deep yo.

Great job Riddick, could you maybe do it with just the pupils are like movie Riddicks?

I have no photoshop skills :-(

I'm curious how HotToys would make this without the suit being completely rubberised

I'm in the "this is the best looking cinematic suit so far" camp.
It looks a lot like the comics, but it still looks like something that could work/make sense in the real world.
Not saying other suits looked bad, I love the all-black suits, and TDK's futuristic military look is great, but this just seems to get everything right.
Looking forward to seeing it in action.
