I feel like some people are, legitimately, going out of their way to hate this movie, and it kind of sucks. There was stuff in Man of Steel that I didn't like (I will say, though, that I don't hate the Jonathan Kent thing, as much, anymore, though; we had some serious tornado warnings a few months back, and it seemed like all the **** was culminating right around our house (which we were away from, at the time). Long story short, we went back for the dog. I feel kind of stupid, but yeah...I feel like I'd be a hypocrite if I called Pa Kent a moron when I'm equally dumb).
With that being said, while there are certain things in the trailer that I'm kind of iffy about (I think Eisenberg kind of blows, from everything I've seen so far, though I will concede that there isn't really that much to work with, so, I could be off base, in regards to his full performance). I guess I just feel like this is something to get excited about. Not even just because of the movie, but because of what it represents. After over 75 years, we're seeing the big three on the big screen together for the first time. That's pretty huge. I just hope that the movie delivers.
