Affleck wears a wig in this. I read the magazine article last night. They're playing bats as 45 - 46 in this. Too old for my tastes. I don't really want a batman just starting out in the justice league to be 46. Where can he go? Realistically any one who's 45 would get his ass kicked. Everything's slower when you're 45.

wonder woman looks pretty good on this. she looks kinda bad in normal clothes but the 2 clips on the trailer are good

Hi

I've seen this pic on geektyrant. Batman has white eyes and it looks absolutely great imo.

Is this hapening or am I late to the party and it's just a interpretation with photoshop?

Chris

Those are existing shots photoshopped together. I haven't heard anything about Bats having white eyes, though some geeks have suggested it of course. Could be added in post-production, but I doubt it will. You lose some ability to emote without eyes. There is an exception if you do something like Deadpool, but they won't do that here.

Then I fully expect Daniel Craig at age 47 to be getting his ass handed to him in Spectre.

Wasn't that the whole theme of Skyfall, that he was no longer in his prime and obsolete in a modern world? I guess by the end he "proved" that was not the case...maybe?Still, it would be a shame if they ignore all that progress and go back to the "young" Bond from Casino Royale.

OK thanks!

I love Skyfall but I always thought that was a bit premature to play the ''too old for this ****'' card. It was only the third film and the first two took place in a very short period of time during which he was a new OO agent. Then suddenly he's already too old? Tha fuq?

Haha yeah.

Nah I'm only kidding about the ass kicked comments but still I'd like him to be younger. Hopefully when he directs the stand alone batman film it features a younger batman in his earlier days of crime fighting.

Yeah, six years wasn't enough time, and he was only 44 years old. Conery didn't play the "too old for this" until "Never Say Never Again", when he was in his 50's. Although, in " From Russia with Love", the villain calls Bond old man constantly , which was interesting because that was only the second film and Connery was only 35 maybe? Having said that, since Skyfall already went there, they shouldn't ignore it completely. Now, I'm not saying they should go full Indy 4 and have people calling Bond "old man" and have Bond making references to his age every time something doesn't go his way like in Indy 4, but just don't ignore the previous film because one of the good things about the Daniel Craig films is that they are connected, and the previous films matter, unlike the the old Bond films, which didn't care about continuity.

Still, I liked the way Skyfall handled it though, but the only thing that film was missing was a fight scene between Bond and Silva, imo. I really wanted to see a fight scene between those two because Silva was supposedly better than Bond in his prime. Other than that, the film felt fresh (ironically) yet familiar and classic. The introduction of Q in the museum scene was one of my favorite scenes.

I'm ok with Batman being in his mid 40's when he starts the JL, Batman's contributions to the JL are rarely physical to begin with, and if it ever comes to that he can suit up so it's ok, he'll be the Cap of the JL, giving orders, tactics and stuff, I'm cool with that.

Plus Affleck is a bit younger, so it's a fictional age anyway :lol According to Snyder he's been Batman for 20 years, and all the characters in SQ were put in jail by Batman.

Wow... Batman for twenty years? ... damn that's a bit too long for a career as a human superhero. If Snyder is aiming for realistic then Batman fighting crime for twenty years is a bit too much.

If regular donut cops in the USA are required to put in 20 years I don't see why a highly trained ninja with military grade equipment and back massages by Alfred can't put in 35 plus years fighting crime.

Unless you're the TDKR Batman, that man was lazy. :lol

I just hope he's not retired in this film. It's been done already and recently too by Nolan. I don't have a problem with Batman retiring, it just that it was done already, and apparently, this version of Batman is no longer in his prime either, so again, that's too similar to Rises.

Snyder is not going for realistic...I don't think. That was Nolan's thing, which is why his Batman had so many injuries in a short period of time.

Which is similar to TDKReturns that everyone loves.

Bad timing for "tribute." It was well done in 2012, and that was the last film in a trilogy, which made sense. TDKReturns was also a "last chapter"type story. This Batman in BvS is just getting started in this cinematic universe and he's already past his prime,"old", broken and close to 50 :lol It's a good thing Affleck is a bit younger than the character.
