Batman v Superman and Civil War are the last blockbusters for me. I'm getting kind of sick of all this ****. :lol

How people still manage to get excited for the 7th Star Wars movie .... is beyond me

It's only one trilogy more. By 2020 Disney will make enough in the harvest and we can all be sick of blockbuster franchises and their merchandise the next decade.

Well for some of us TFA is really the "fourth" SW film.

That being said, other than this new SW trilogy I'm about "franchised out" at the moment. I didn't even get that excited seeing the Civil War trailer on the big screen. They're just making so many of these damn things with so little time in between.

I'm going to wait till the new trilogy is complete before I fully decide if there are more than 3.

While I did enjoy SW:TFA (Major Star Wars spoiler)
Kinda like Difabio there's a part of me that feels it's a shame that the happy ending of ROTJ has been undone and Han Solo ends up being murdered. The next two films really have to deliver to make that worthwhile....otherwise, I'd rather the last image of Solo be the one from the ewok celebration

In my mind, there are two Star Wars movies. Star Wars and the Empire Strikes Back. Always two there are, no more, no less.

Batman and Batman Returns
Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2
Batman Begins and the Dark Knight
Terminator and Terminator 2
Alien and Aliens

I don't know if I can ignore the palpatine/vader/luke/space battle stuff in ROTJ.

Great stuff there is.

As good as it was it was also...flawed.

The Emperor is a terrible manipulator. His whole plan to not completely destroy the Rebel troops in space is to get Luke in an angry mood to push him towards the dark side of the force, which is clever, but why does he keep reminding Luke what his paln is? ''Take your weapon. Strike me down with all your hatred and your journey towards the dark side will be complete!'' What? Why would you tell Luke exactly what was in store for him if he followed your manipulation? It'd be like me telling you, "Take your weapon, Jye. Kill Difabio so that you end up in jail miserable! Hehehe..."

Then, after Vader goes down and Luke refuses to go to the darkside...gee...I wonder why? Palpatine uses his powers, and he's slowly killing Luke with his lightning bolts, but then Vader then takes him up walks toward the reactor shaft and throws him down with no resistance on his part. Why didn’t the emperor react? In fact, it’s not like Vader had that much grip on him having only one hand. The Emperor enough time to do something... anything...the same guy why could move like Spiderman when using the Force, but he froze like a statue.

I felt the same way about the Apocalypse trailer, it didn't do a thing for me.
